This is my first deal - be gentle with me.

This is one for all those home sewing enthusiasts. I have only ever seen one of these cheaper on the web once - but it had a £300 discount tagged on it!

I'm not sure about the quality of this item, but it has the backing of a 3 year warranty. Anyway, if you're unhappy with it you can take it straight back to ALDI and get your money back. But at at this price it would have to be a complete lemon for you to return it.

Here's the details: -

This versatile overlocker enables you to produce sophisticated and elegant hems and cuffs on home furnishings and clothing alike. It comes pre-threaded and has a user-friendly, detailed instruction manual to help you get going.

70 watt motor
15 watt lamp (built-in)
Built-in carry handle
Overlock width: 3.5 to 5.7mm
Rolled hem width: 1.5mm
Differential feed: 0.7:2 ratio
Presser foot lift: 5mm
Sewing speed: 1100spm max.
Stitch length adjustments
Colour coded threading guides
Easy follow on machine threading chart
Adjustable blade trims away excess fabric
Free arm for finishing cuffs, fitting sleeves, etc.

Hi Flamefast. I've added some info to the thread title, it helps people know what's in the thread before clicking through :)

Thanks emmajk42, I'll remember that for my next post. I'm not sure if it's truly what you would class as a sewing machine though.

I didn't really know what else to call it though... and "Overclocker" doesn't really tell me very much!

An "Overclocked" sewing machine - does it have MORE POWER?

What processor has it got and how much RAM?:giggle:
