Quite often they give these away free with a subscription to ride magazine. Good price all the same.

Yeah I loved my Aldi charger but it got lost in a recent shed/garage move, can't find it anywhere and the bike needs some electrons cos I'm a tart and don't like to go out in the cold LOL. Shame the Aldi/Lidl ones only come round once a year :(

I have had one of these attached to my motorcycles for well over 10 years, perhaps nearer 15 years. Battery always in top condition. Present bike, a 35 year old Superdream, has been unused for over two years. Battery is as good as new.

Sorry for going rather OT, but you lost me on this one. What difference does a charged battery make to having to go out in the cold? Do you have electrically-heated gloves/boots/clothing or something?

Bike batteries go flat over winter as they are often used little. They also don't like going flat totally and then being charged up. This charger will prolong the life of the battery by keeping it constantly full of charge

Basically these draw current and recharge constantly. If a battery is left unused, it gets damaged. These are made for when the bike isn't in use, ie left in a garage all winter

C TEK chargers are better.

CTEK chargers are best I've used

Not sure of price difference between this and CTEK. This one, as I have previously noted, has served me well since 1998. Been connected to every bike I have owned since then and has never missed a beat. So not sure if worth spending the extra on a more expensive item.
