Its a good price, with another 0.5% cashback through quidco.

The cheapest until recently was £74 including delivery at http://www.playengine.co.uk/component/page,shop.product_details/flypage,shop.flypage/product_id,444/category_id,5/manufacturer_id,0/option,com_virtuemart/Itemid,2/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=shop.flypage&product_id=444&category_id=5&manufacturer_id=0&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=2&vmcchk=1 (or 50p more than that via Amazon Marketplace from the same vendor).

It supports Read Audio format, so you can listen to BBC Listen Again broadcasts (some WiFi radios only let you listen to BBC stations live).

The manufacter's page is: http://www.oxxdigital.com/produkter/alto/index.shtml
The support page with links to the manual is here: http://unisupport.net/oxx/wir.html

From the sounds of it, it is a reasonable WiFi radio. There are some nice features, like the adjustable brightness levels for the display.

An alternative is this at Argos for £58.69 http://www.argos.co.uk/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Search?storeId=10001&catalogId=1500001151&langId=-1&searchTerms=5005969&Submit=GO+%3E
The build quality for that sounds like it is not very good (a number of people have had to return them for a variety of reasons), and it uses http://www.wifiradio-frontier.com/ instead of www.reciva.com for the portal, but it combines a FM, DAB and WiFi radio.

You only need a wireless modem/router to use the radio to listen to WiFi radio stations, or "Listen Again" programs.

However, if you have a PC switched on, then you can also listen to MP3 files that are stored on the PC using this radio.

My Bush TR2015 died on me a few weeks after my warranty expired, so I went looking for a cheap replacement. I came across this OXX on the PLAY.COM website and ordered one blind after finding next to no reviews. It soon arrived and took just seconds to set up. I upgraded the software which was painless, entered my WEP key, again painless, registered the set with my Reciva account and off we went. Sound quality is very good, I put that down to the weight of the set, it is quite heavy for its size.

Only real downside I have come across so far in the software. Stations are listed via Genre or Location, and all countries are listed a-z, not broken down into world regions. Makes it a bit longer to find your country.

The physical downside is the tuning/volume knob, this is almost flush with the top of the set and theres only a very small indent to put your finger in. The knob is not very free spinning, and I have found you need to use two finger tips in a sort of spinning motion to get anywhere fast.

I had to move my wireless router to a new position in the house to get a better signal to the OXX as the signal bar was showing one or two bars and I was getting a lot of dropouts and buffering. Since resiting the router I have got three bars and signal is rock solid in the room where the OXX is normally kept.

For £50 and with apparently a 2 year warranty this seems like a good buy.

can someone please find me an internet radio with a snooze function !!!!???!!!!

it appears to much to ask!

oh, and it has to be cheap.....the idea of spending even £50 or £60 on a radio weirds me out a little :-)
