Welcome to Emerald City, an experimental unit of the Oswald Maximum Security Prison or "Oz." As run by Tim McManus and overseen by Warden Leo Glynn, Em City is about prisoner rehabilitation over public retribution. No matter how hardened a criminal or killer, whether you're in for a few years or in for life, you have a role to play. Once inside, choose your friends carefully. Every group - Muslims, Latinos, Italians, Aryans - stick close to mutual friends and terrorize mutual enemies. Don't smile. Get yourself a weapon. Stay on everybody's good side... if you can find one.

It is a good price for a great show that went seriously off the wane towards the end. The Irish guy who didn't want to be deported to England where he was facing the death penalty....wtf?

Anyone able to give a quick non-spoiler review of the show as a whole? :P

How does it compare to Prison Break?

"A series chronicling the daily activities of an unusual prison facility and its criminal inhabitants."

This program is for people on death row.
"Prison Break" is for 11 year olds with an ASBO for playing ball games on the grass.

The code doesn't work for me. Looking at the code, it has been expired, so the OP price is incorrect.

£56.97 is not hot.

Not seen too much of Prison Break but from what I have seen Oz is a lot grittier. Expect plenty of violence and rape. First few seasons are very good (I would say essential viewing) with season long story threads but towards the last season the storylines are a little ridiculous with characters being introduced and killed off in the same episode. It is not easy to watch as its quite bleak, certainly not something you would watch with the other half but is a good show with lots of appearances from now recognisable actors/actresses. Hope that helps.

Oops....forgot to add......good price and heat added OP!

No, 'good' doesn't do it justice, it's superb.
