"Pac-Man has always been a party-based, arcade-style game at heart. Thirty years ago the little yellow pill-munching mascot was the source of much frustration and social high-score challenges in arcades around the world. Today, Namco's classic character is back, with ghosts in tow, to engage in a massive mini-game fest on the Nintendo Wii. More than 45 entertaining mini-games are packed into Pac-Man Party, each with a level of accessibility that allows anybody to play. The Wii Remote is used to great effect here, with pointing, motion and button control capabilities required to pass each challenge. The mini-games range from rolling a giant snowball to knocking friends off of mountains and adventures that require precision. You can either jump straight into these mini-games with your friends and family or enter the Party mode, which sets these challenges against a board games-style environment. Travel across different themed boards and collect the most points - build and develop properties on various spaces to increase your coin total or use items like Power Cookies to level the playing field. If you're on your tod, there's a Story mode to get stuck into, and as a bonus there are even original arcade versions of PAC-MAN, Galaga and Dig-Dug to enjoy."
