Mairaj: Hello, my name is Mairaj. I'll be happy to help you today.
xxxxxxx
Me: which is a box of 80 led finger lights
yes you are
Mairaj: Thank you for confirming name.
Thank you for being an Amazon Prime member.
Could you please confirm me the issue?
Me: The lights have arrived but they are not safe.
Mairaj: Thank you for confirming the issue.
Thank you for the order number.
Could you wait for a minute while I research this for you?
Thank you for waiting.
I have checked and I apologize for the inconvenience caused to you.
In this case as you are valuable customer, I will go ahead and create a replacement or process return for full refund as per your convenience.
Could you please confirm?
Me: The pictures on the page clearly show the CE mark on each item which confirms they are certified for sale in European Union the box that has arrived has a CE mark on the sticker of the outer box but all of the lights do not have a CE mark furthermore the lights contain lithium ion batteries which are dangerous for small children to swallow as it can kill them. I specifically chose these because I could see a CE mark clearly displayed on the light. The lights are not adequately encased and I have taken a video and how easy it is for the batteries all out with one hand. I think you should immediately remove these from sale as they are dangerous and also illegal to sell in this country
Mairaj: Please don´t worry, I will surely escalate this issue to relevant team and will look into this and I will go ahead and process instant refund and you can return the item in 30 days and make sure the issue will be investigated by the relevant team.
Is that be fine?
Me: Or indeed any country within the EU
No I am not going to return them that would be an offence on my part I will destroy them or take them to the council Office for disposal
Mairaj: Please allow me a minute.
No worries, in this case I will go ahead and process return less refund as one time exception, you can keep, dispose or donate the item as per your convenience.
Is that be fine?
Me: that is fine but please, please take them off your site, the damage done to small children by swallowing these batteries is horrifying and these lights fall to peices just from dropping them from hand height. I understand it will take time to remove them so I will post a review to highlight that these are fake
Mairaj: I understand your point and make sure I will escalate this issue to relevant team for investigation, please don´t worry about it.
Please allow me a minute to process the refund.
Me: Thanks I will monitor it also
Mairaj: Thank you for waiting.
I have processed the full refund, you can check it in your Amazon account.
Hope I was able to resolve your issue.

heat added use these loads on the kids cosplay outfits as there small and no heat from them so makes great light up costumes

just be aware, if buying for little ones, they clearly contain those awful watch batteries that are killers if ingested by kids.

This is a good deal, if only to strip out the batteries (3x LR44 in each light) but I'm not sure what you'd do with all of those :)

Yes... If you need 80...
I merely stated where you can get 4 and for how much - I didn't once suggest that it was a bad deal.

Light up your Christmas tree :)

yep, we've had them from home bargains for less than a pound. I'd never pay £10 for them

These are absolutely terrible. I got them last year as a novelty gift. Many of them didn't even work or the switches were pushed inside the casing and couldn't be switched on. I would strongly advise everyone not to buy them, especially not 80 of the things.
#23
For clubbing?? Really? I'm not sure even the craziest of crazy kids would have a handful of these!
Personally, I buy the little keyring, single led torches from Amazon for about 10 for £2.50. Really handy
