In Reading Oxford Rd

After further investigation by HUKD members, it would appear that this is only in the for mentioned store, but still might be worth a look if your going in there for other things.

are these reduced to clear stock or is this the regular price ?
#9
I imagine they're reduced - Lidl's normal prices for optical media are far from competitive.

Hot.
I normally buy same Maxell discs but in 100-packs from Costco for just about £11 - £12..
Never found anywhere cheaper than Costco for these... till now.
Gonna get some 2morow.

Generally, I never buy any brand other than Verbatim due to them being the best brand for disks.
How good and reliable are Maxell?

Never had a problem.
I've stuck with Maxell not just because these have always been the best price for me but also cos the manual for my Pioneer DVD recorder recommended Maxell.

Just ran into my port glasgow store & their 3.00 no deal for me:(
#18
I always have problems with Maxells, they're fine for data but extremely unreliable for audio, for me anyway.
#19

#20

because that's fair, where did i say it was nationwide? i thought i'd let people know so they could check when they next went but sorry to have ruined you special trip. Is you name supposed to be ironic?
#22
yeah confirmed local deal only, maybe the title should be amended?

Hmmm... finding it hard to understand how this site works, I guess.
#24
I suppose these offers just show the recordable CD/DVD are dead as a form of media. I stopped buying them over a year ago - they're the next VHS/Betamax.

You seem to be concentrating on data storage and forgetting the enormous number of CD and DVD players that people have, which is what you'd use these for. Their death has been greatly exaggerated...

Red hot and none anywhere what is wrong with these people voting hot when an item clearly doesn't exist except maybe one store in the country.
#32
I've seen these in Lidl for months.
Usually around £3.
Hot deal and voted as such.

Yes thats the normal lidl price not 89p £3 for 10 is more than twice the price of a good blank dvd.
