And how exactly do you plan to fit them into an AAA slot (as per thread title and OP description)?
Do you recommend a grinder or just a big hammer?
#14
Robert Dyas instore; Energisers £4.88 for 16 AAA's or 24 AA's
#15
I remember the days of the Gameboy (the original brick one) - I felt that Duracell lasted longer than energiser. I realise it could have been misconception, but always prefer Duracell at the same or similar price myself.
#16
batteries not as good as duracell though, they dont last as long
#17
Great deal just got some myself and they have the AAn size at a similar price too but was told at my branch they are selling fast
#18
Very good deal! I picked 2 packs up from b&q in sheffield today, nothing worst than you batteries running out in your TV remote etc. Rated hot!
#19
These used to be about £4.88 in B&Q back in October, shame no one was shouting about them back then.

Remember, fellow geriatrics, if you're over 60 you can get another 10% off on Wednesdays.

Price then will be £5.07.

These batteries work out at 16.3p each compared to 32.2p for the duracell.
