Pack of 2 Erasable Pens (minus) -2p @ ASDA

Pack of 2 erasable pens, unsure of name/brand as don't have them with me but they were the only erasable pens in store, supposed to cost £5+ scanned tonight through self scan at minus 2 pence. So they basically paid me 2p to take the pens. :-)

This was at Asda Cape Hill, Birmingham.

I'd love for asda to be able to tell you how much you've spent in there stores by scanning your debit card, I would imagine there able to do something like this.

They should start giving us back 10% of what we spend in store, even if it is just on gift cards so that we have to re use them in store.

I reckon I could get at least a million back lol.

Bank Statements/On-line Banking....Receipts etc....

I'd rather a machine told me in a matter of minutes than me sitting like a numpty for ages adding it all up.

Buy 100's of packs and increase the -!.

100 packs will equal £2 off your shopping, I doubt they will have enough for it to be worthwhile however. Unless you want the eraser pens that is heh.
#9
So, what if you bought like, 600 of these? Would they give you £12?

Only if they stocked all 600 on the shelves. They will most probably be informed about this and rectify the issue.

just go self service and scan the item and multiply by 50000. would be such a sight id a grand started churning out of the change dispenser

Never thought of this, just multiply the item or scan the same item over and over o.o;;; after about 30 mins of scanning you would probably get staff/security coming over, but if it has a multiply button lawl. I am sure youd get busted though.
#14
Just say you have 50, 000 But they're erased from existance
#15
they would not like to pay rubbish people to take their rubbish, they would rather pay to the customers, sorry i am joking!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

i think its not only hot deal, its a very very very and so on hot deal...................
#16
perhaps it's Asda's way of a prank. The erasing is automatic, so anything you write down with these over the next 5 years will be erased. :S
#17
BRILLIANT!!! I haven't laughed for so long at these posts...:p H&R
#18
lol wow. just....WOW.
#19

The flaw in that plan is it requires you to put the items in the carrier bag area :whistling:

Can't you just 'Skip bagging'?

;-)

BS...

I put 200 in my carrier bag but the top must have come off one pen and it erased the bottom of the bag....................200 pens rolled across the car park................i had to run for it.................
#29
hot :thumbsup:but it wouldn't work for me as EVERY time i use the self service i end up with unexpected item in the bagging area or please ask for assitance. last time the 'unexpected item' in my bagging area was my grandad leaning on the scale! lol

Blimey, I havent seen a deal like this in a while! Last one I saw was 3 years ago when Boots had a £5 voucher and no minimum spend! Used online , I got paid £1.50 into my account and had 10 radox bubble bath bottles delivered!! Oh the good old days of deals.... :whistling:

Just been to ASDA huddersfield and bought what they had left (3.5 million packs).

Walked away with £70,000 cash! Just what I needed, with the credit crunch etc....

Thanks
#32
If we all bought these pens, what would asda sign the administration form with?
#33
Asda is part of the american company Walmart.

The gulf war is thought to have cost the UK £3.2 billion - a war started based on american lies.

Source of £3.2 billion figure

If you get 160 000 000 000 packs of pens from Asda - we can break even financially (but unfortunately disregards the lives lost).

HOT deal!!!
#34
Alistair Darling will use one of these pens to write the next budget..............then we can erase the national debt
#35

All those self service things would do is go mental and tell you to CALL FOR HELP or SEEK ASSISTANCE. Like a crazy person
