Comes with a free field of blazing crops/ thatched roof or a dead cow when they land
#2
these are full bio-degradable ones so eco friendly
#3
If these are Eco (same as other deal) then they can only be hot. Heat added from me anyway - i'll never understand the voting system in this place either, but hey ho, I still keep posting lol
#5
p.s. might be worth mentioning in your Title that they are the Bio ones, might encourage more heat.

Me too, at this price this is hot. In any case I eat dead cows and I'm sure getting tangled in a bit of wire is a far better fate than a bolt through the brain. I know which way I'd rather go.

What is this B&M of which you speak? Is this like Waitrose which we have in the South?
#11
Voted cold as they are more expensive just by adding Green advertising for the sheeple.

Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha....love it.....new one opened up near us and Waitrose clientele it does not have!

Cold, having seen dozens the dangerous remains of dozens of these in the fields today, I would never consider using them. It is tantamount to littering.

sorry cold from me too, we found 2 still burning in our garden last night, and half of our garden is decking! not happy! these things are deadly and should be banned
2 Likes #15
If you want to save the planet, you don't make these things in the first place.

I'm getting **** **** off at the idea of sticking the word 'eco' at the front of everything to justify it.
#16
Do they sell these in waitrose ? Do waitrose do any hot deals ?

Cold from me, they should be banned
#18
Hard to find in B&M's as they sell really quick and can't get enough. Saying that Merthyr Tydfil store had loads yesterday.

These things are always in my garden in the mornings they should ban the bloody things.

Any family guy reference gets a thumbs up from me.

Dont understand the cold votes for them being dangerous.
Some one got their face burnt?
They state not to stand under them and that you should release them in an open space.
You wouldn't stand over a firework, dont stand under these.
Bit of common sense.

yes but these things blow away in the wind, over other houses, other people, sorry they should be banned, if the 2 we found HAD landed on my decking my bloody house would have gone up in flames, lucky they landed on the patio but still bloody scary
#23
That would be the cows facing the abattoir the next morning.

It isn't the cows getting tangled in the wire that kills them, it's the internal damage caused by the wire when they swallow them. These things could easily set fire to a hay barn, or burn down stables etc, they should be banned.

Their must have been thousands sent up last night, but I have not read any reports of any houses being burnt to the ground as a consequence. Unless you count a prison...

thats why they are called eco, because they have baamboo instead of metal frames

Should be banned. It'll be too late when a barn or someone's house is burnt down.

Well I don't mean to sensationalise, but I live on a farm and it's a genuine concern at this time of year.

At the very least it's littering.

??

That was first article, google threw up. I knew I'd read about that story on the Internet.
But if you have some issue with the source, then how about the same story, as reported by the BBC. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-north-east-wales-11718337

I feel sorry for the kid but poor parenting skills shouldn't justify banning.
Look at that timmy! Lets take a closer look, its practialy on top of us!
Bit of common sense could have stopped this kids face from being burned.

BAN FIREWORKS! omgz kid posts them through letter boxes, strap them to their own faces.
BAN KNIVES! kids die on the streets daily, no ban bad parents.
BAN CARS! Ban douche bag drivers

etc etc. . . . . It all starts some where.
