Does anyone have any opinions on this?

Good deal?

Looking at changing my laptop for one of these?

I believe Packard Bell are now owned by Acer and these are re-branded Acer Aspire Ones

There are lots of similar specced netbooks at similar or cheaper prices, except this one has Windows 7. I guess a lot more will soon have this as well. They certainly use the same chassis as the Acer.

I have the Dot M with the 11.6 screen and Athlon processor running Vista Home Premium which has been fine so far. That's only 24 hours though.

Not sure netbooks are good replacements for laptops unless you carry it around a lot and don't need to do anything to complex and can cope with a 10 inch screen.

Thank you for the comment Grahawk.

The advantaghe of this seems to be it has a 250gb HDD instead of a 160.

Instead of people voting this down can they please give constructive comments and not just lynch mob me because I am new thanks.

What better deals are there if this is so bad?

I don't think one person voting cold (not me by the way) is a lynch mob.

MSI Wind at Argos might be better.

MSI wind looks ok, I think I would be tempted to pay £40 more for the 250gb hard drive, slightly better processor and better battery life though.

This one looks ok to me. I've been looking a netbooks the past few days and the main difference compared to ones costing around £200 is this has Win7, 250gb, n280 processor, and 6 cell battery. I haven't compare this with Win7 netbooks yet but it looks good to me. I was going to just buy a 10", n270 processor, 160gb, 1gb, 6 cell battery, xp netbook for £210 in the next few days but I might hold back for now seeing for about £40 more, can get a better spec with Win 7 (which is an OS which I will eventually buy for the netbook anyways).

.. does this have the 1280x800 or 1024x600 pixel screen? The specification doesn't say.

6 hours battery is good for these netbooks I bought a compaq one from Tesco and the battery was useless only about 2 hours so I returned it under their 28 day return policy.

[FONT=Verdana]According to the reviews already done (check out the links I've added) it's 1024 x 600 for the screen resolution.

Remember that most of these netbooks are going to come loaded with Windows 7 starter edition. A lot of us will still end up upgrading the OS, even on the new ones.

I'm not going to vote (don't know where to get this cheaper) but I think the XP Samsung N130 looks a better buy on Amazon forabout the same price.
