Hi
Thanks for posting. And welcome to HUKD.
It is good practice to also add
*the merchant and price to the title
*name of the product to the title
*the price
*an image
*an item descrpition
It helps people who are just browsing through. And in my experience your post will get a few more “hot” votes.

This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - http://www.hotukdeals.com/item/339941/how-to-post-and-host-images-for-thr/
They are well worth taking a look at.
Again, thanks for posting, and welcome to HUKD.

I have one and it's quite good - running Windows 7 Home Premium with no problem. Vista worked fine on it as well. Mine only had a 3 cell battery and that's it's weak point with little more than 2 hours. This one has a 6 cell battery so should be better. For a netbook/ultra mobile crossover this is a very good price. I don't think calling it a "trendy netbook/digital diary" does it any justice at all.

hi got this for my gf great laptop more powerful than my samsung n140 :(

Bah typing on a medion akoya e1311 here, I take it this netbook is more powerful?

I was just browsing this. The only thing that put me off was battery life. I'm looking for 8 hours. Otherwise the price is perfect, but no luck finding 8 hour battery life for less than £350

I had it for a week but than returned it. The CPU doesn't have multithreading and gpu didn't support x264 so it couldn't handle most of HD films at all. Battery life is mediocre and it takes insane ammount of time to charge the battery. It also runs hot for a netbook. Apart from that I was happy withe the built quality and the looks. Still if you like entertainment on th go I wouldn't recomand this.

The reviews on Amazon don't seem much good?

I an guessing the reviews on amazon were based on the original asking price. For £220 it seems like a good bargain.

cpu is not even at good as a n270 atom 1.6ghz which the n140 has or a 1.2ghz celeron single core. so if you upgrade your n140 to 2gb it should be faster than this

Is this a better laptop than an earlier posted one from Amazon?? I'm confused.........

Hot from me, seems like good value at that price.

Was really excited when I saw the title, thinking it was going to be a cheapo version of the acer ferrari one.

Ah well, still not a bad price, but I'm sure the aldi one with same spec was under £200 on here not long ago.

Looks pretty well specced?

Do you have to pay to upgrade from Vista to Win7?

The E1311 would be more powerful (if I remember the CPU comparisons correctly) but this one has more memory and a larger hard disk in place already than the E1311 did, via the deal I had previously posted.

From reading the reviews out there the graphics card (along with the 2GB of RAM installed as standard) help provide the necessary speed boost that's needed - right now this is one of the most cheapest deals I can see plus it beats the Acer Aspire One 751 netbook hands down (due to the CPU alone).

Depends on what your really looking for at the end of the day - both of them have pros and cons, so it's all down to your individual needs.

+1 - I know that Packard Bell was bought over by Acer, so the build quality should hopefully be a lot better now plus they're website has a lot more information on this model as well.

The Aldi deal was only for a couple of stores within the UK - it wasn't unfortunately a nationwide deal and the one where you could purchase one from Medion UK direct has expired now.

Bear in mind though for the Medion deals you would only get 1GB of RAM, a 160GB Hard Disk and Windows XP Home Edition for the OS.

Cheers, Scotty Boy!

Iguess you want a laptop then? a Netbook is easy to find for under £350 with over 8 hours battery life, look at the Samsungs especially the N210 and N220.

L110 AMD chip in this laptop will be faster than any Atom available from Intel. It is also 64bit, when N2xx atoms are not. Graphics would also be better than integrated ones from Intel.
The only no-no is Vista. You would have to spend more money for Win7 or roll it back to XP. Either way you are paying for worthless Vista license.

Yes - it cost me £19.95 or thereabouts.
