Have you ever wished that, instead of all the different devices in your living room, that there was just one machine that could handle all your home entertainment needs, such as watching and recording TV, listening to music, watching DVD movies and viewing photos? Well, because it runs Microsoft"s Windows XP Media Center Edition operating system, this Famous Brand iMedia Media Centre PC can do all of this and much more.
The iMedia MC has an Intel Pentium 4 running at 2.93GHz with 512MB of memory and 160Gb of hard disk space to store all of your recorded programmes.

There"s also a dual-layer DVD rewriter to record movies and make backups, and getting images from digital cameras is easy with a 6-in-1 memory card reader.

The imedia has a digital TV tuner built in, so it can pause live television and display an Electronic Programme Guide from the internet for quickly and easily recording individual programmes or entire series.

Using the iMedia is very easy too, with dedicated buttons on the front of the case for quickly starting DVD movies and music, and watching television. Furthermore, the Windows XP Media Center Edition remote control means that you can control the system from the comfort of your sofa.

LOL, still 2 available. My friend ordered a used RM base from Bigpockets. The computer was in good condition and worked strait out of the box. But every time he booted, it displayed a big message like "This equipment belongs to Luton University and is tagged" or something similar:-D

Sometimes Bigpockets just cut/past stuff in their adverts. Reading the reviews for this item http://www.bigpockets.co.uk/product.php?lang=&submenu=&menu=&product_id=1899&session=cbdd097acc7a90bfbea4b2952bbf0409 it mentions speakers and minitor, and another review mentions a 20Gig HD and free delivery, neither of which has anything to do with the product.

Whooaaa....a rave from the grave. A 5 month old thread sees life again!!???

Not Dual core, only 512MB Ram and almost certainly no Vista Upgrade. Highly unlikely a 5 month old posting for a PC will be able to compete with todays offers. Think we should let this lay ;-)

There are better Packard Bell deals on PCWORLD if you don't mind refurbs with a 12 months guarantee...and 6% quidco and 5% code YAWF07 (not sure if this works but worth a try)

YAWF07 code works, something to do with "You At Work"
