Yeah it is a good price. Nice find, will try and see if my local has any.

Cant believe people would make this deal cold, stupid!

This deal is exceptional if true. The price of this cpu and motherboard is about £350 (and thats ebuyer, usually the cheapest around).

Suspect pricing error. Possibly best deal of the year so far..

still no good if its not in stock, can be 1p, doesn't matter if you can't buy it hence why its probably being voted cold

I think this a standard reply for out of stock items and does not mean they will get any. They had a similar deal a week ago with a dell. A lot of people went as far as getting through the ordering system only to be told that there was non available. I don't think anyone actually got any. Some one here remarked that it was a ploy used by DSGi group to get people to their stores.

Don't let me put any one off by all means try and good luck! I certainly won't be spending my weekend at PCW or currys!

Pricing error would be their fault, besides its been reduced twice from £769 then down to £549

and now this crazy price, they have not made any error,

Ive been in store & rang customer service they assured me should they get them back that this was the price,

It kinda sounds like a discontinued product to be honest, and all the ones left have sold out.

Fair enough but you never know its always worth a try,

its about finding good deals, to be fair its a very good deal,

Like the ALDi one they knew damn well they would only get 2-3 per store but people still tried

Oh and the tesco offer at £199 people made some guy prove it with a receipt, sometimes your lucks up

I'll check tomorrow again, I mean how long has it been out of stock, for how long have you been watching the product online?

Only place advertising this online is Dixons. Nothing on PC World or Currys websites.
As has been said previously discontinued stock and only really becomes a hot deal if someone actually gets one.
If you do get one then you have got yourself a bargain.
For the spec its white hot, but voted cold because like so many deals from DSG - they just dont appear to be available. Good Spot though

i spotted the deal two weeks ago, went into my local currys digital to the guy who could only check stock for the surrounding area, to which i was told to ring customer service quoted the product code 107755, the girl seemed a bit thick, she told me they get deliveries on stock all the time and just keep ringing quoting the product code, they can do a nation wide store search, I asked was this discontinued and worth bothering to keep ringing, she said if it says check in store then they will still have them or could get them,

the rest is up to you lot......

by complete fluke I've managed to stumble upon and ordered one of these pc's before they went out of stock today!! was hacked off that Dell had reduced the price of an i5 pc i'd ordered but not yet received by £30 and were refusing to refund the difference. By chance I went onto the dixons website saw this unbelievable bargain and added it to basket. Within seconds the item was showing as out of stock but still had in my basket and completed the order.

I can assure anyone that this is a genuine offer but I think the numbers that dixons gets in stock are very limited.
