So far the cheapest Honeycomb tablet yet!

*Also available at the same price at Currys and PCWorld*

Boasting a 1GHz dual core nVidia Tegra Processor 250, and running Android 3.0 Honeycomb, the Packard Bell Liberty Tablet is a great piece of engineering.

Improving upon several other offerings, the Liberty Tablet has a bright and clear 10.1" capacitive HD touchscreen that is highly responsive, with great contrast ratio and an impressive 1280 x 800 resolution. The sound quality is also amazing for such a compact device. It packs 2 x 1 watt stereo speakers with full Dolby Mobile

The Packard Bell Liberty Tablet features outstanding connectivity options. Sporting a microSD slot, as well as USB connectivity, there's plenty of options for hooking up peripherals and expanding the ample 16GB onboard hard drive. Additionally the mini-HDMI port allows you to display your pictures and HD movies on your TV.

The Liberty Tablet has a truly iconic styling, thanks to the red rear cover and the glossy silver top and bottom mounting for the screen. The interface is also customisable and extremely easy to use, making playing games, watching movies, or even viewing Flash websites a breeze.

This device also boasts an extremely good 5 megapixel rear camera, with an LED flash for low-light conditions, capable of capturing high definition photos and videos. The 2 mp front camera provides the ability to use face to face video chat, or take handsome self-portraits.

Coming pre-loaded with some fantastic software that should have gamers on the edge of their seats, the Packard Bell Liberty Tablet PC also has an impressive battery life to keep you connected to the web all day long.

why in Gods name would you ever want to use a 10" tablet for taking pictures ???
heigh ho...
the proof's in the eating, as they say, so i'd need to get my hands on one to really give an opinion, but the specs seem decent for the price i suppose.

The camera's more useful as a general purpose video input device; barcode scanning and the like.

I wonder if this is the reason why the Advent Vega has been hard to find on the shelves recently?

Galaxy Tab? It is said Advent Vega can get 3G by adding a 3G module too.

motorola xoom?!?!?

I am no expert, also looking for a Android Tab, but as I already have an iPad, my criteria might differ from yours. IHO, the Advent Vega is of good value, and with good expandability (USB, SD card), I might go for it, because I am looking for a camera companion, and something that I can bring along on trip for maps and booklets.

I am not sure if it definitely has 3G though.

Viewsonic viewpad?!?!?

Viewsonic viewpad?!?!?

Are you referring to the Viewpad 7 or Viewpad 10s? Viewpad 10s and Advent Vega are basically the same product.
cowbutt#16
The Viewpad 7 (as seen in Maplin for £179) has a SIM slot and 3G modem.

Looks thick, clunky and ugly.
