They say you need at least 2mb of ram for vista to run right. so it might get vated cold.

2gb* :p but nah, 2gb is overkill. Sure it wouldn't do any harm but even 1gb is more than enough.

dont believe everything they say:roll:

1gb will run vista ok but if you run multiple applications spend £15 on another gig of ram.

for those an a tight budget its a decent spec machine.

pixmania still want £470 for it:w00t::w00t::w00t:,cant see people knocking down the door at that price:whistling:

Good price voted hot...

I would have thought that a Duel Core machine won't be as fast as a Dual Core as the two cores will be constantly arguing over which one will process the request..... :-)

Well, I thought it was funny....

but sick of the sight of second hand junk being posted on here :-(
Is it not a bit TOO much of a coincidence that there are MOUNTAINS of "refurb" (ie. busted & patched up) Packhard Bell stuff from Dixon/Currys/PC world?

Sorry for having an opinion without your prior approval. If I find I have the urge to think for myself again, I will be sure to wait until you have given your permission, I must have missed the announcement on the news earlier that you were now in charge of what I am allowed to think or say. Mind you with all the restrictions on our personal liberties these days, it would be easy to miss the odd one.

In the meantime, while I am waiting for hell to freeze over, seeing as you are so keen on this sort of stuff, and after all, we are all being turged to RECYCLE, then I followed your public spirited example and thought of something that might be useful to you: Why not save yourself the bother of having to read? Just pop in to Cash Converters - there, they don't pretend old junk is new, but just the same, they do charge nearly new prices for it! It would also save people who are interested in genuine new bargains from having to sift out this sort of tripe from the proper hot deals

What a pity though, I won't be able to read your posts now they are IGNORED
