But The PCWorld Clearence Store at Chesterfield has them on the shelves for £349.99, I just purchased one for my daughter, I have not seen a Touch screen sysytem come anywhere near this price

The deal was on a big promo aisle end, and they had at least 20 of them yesterday.

SPEC:

very nice deal, only time will tell if it is store specific..
#3
Very nice. Shame its 111 miles away from me.
#4
Good price. Roughly around what you'd pay for a laptop of similar spec.
Touchscreen is a pointless gimmick on a non-portable device like this.
Still a good spot if you live nearby.
#5
I've got one at my local branch but its going for 579.99?

How would I get this for the above price?.

there are 4 pcworld/currys clearance stores

you need to visit one of the 4 stores for this deal, they are not in the normal stores,

1 Store is Chesterfield, If you call Currys/PC World they will give you the location of your nearest clearance store
#7
The one in merryhill has tons of these.
#8
Any in the edinburgh stores?
#9

Touchscreen can be quite useful if it will be used in a shop environment.

Same here although I'm currently wondering whether I can mod an old O2 Joggler to do this. Need to get my hands on a cheap working O2 Joggler first i suppose !

All the stuff in the Outlet store is, it still comes with a 12 month warranty, a 14 day return if you change your mind, and they have been reformatted and reset to factory default,

So no rela difference from new (Except cheaper)

PB = Acer One of thre leading brands,

Currys/PCWorld/Dixons, Largest electrical retailer in the UK???

Seems something must be keeping them in business.
