I'm looking at laptops and have seen a few deals posted here. but i found this and it seems a good one. It was £459.99 about a week ago, because i was comparing it to a couple of Sony's, and it's not long dropped to this price. Quidco is 3%.

I can tell you all that this is an amazing laptop as I bought this last week - however, not from Currys, exactly the same offer on at PC World (which are linked I think)

Infact, online at PCWorld, its £399.00 to reserve and collect in store, then when I went to pick it up they are selling the exact same one for £500 in store!!! Couldn't believe that I'd saved £100 for reserving it online. The guy who served me asked if I had a discount on it (think he was gonna offer one) and I said yeah, its had £100 knocked off it. Which he thought I was making up lol.

Graphics and Processing power is great for this machine and battery life lasts for the time it states. I've had laptops in the past which claim to have 3 hours battery life and actually turn out to have half of that!

Thanks for that!
Yeah, Currys and PC world are one and the same =)
I think i'm settled on this one then, after many many weeks searching and deliberating over what to buy!

It has been £399 in every PC World and Currys store for the last week. The store you went to must have been slow in changing their tickets.

You can also get it in white with a red top, same spec and price. These are harder to find though.

There is also the black or red ones with an Intel pentium dual core 4300 and 320GB hard drive, for only £30 more at £429.

Gota disagree; maybe in the past Norton has been a CPU guzzler but Norton 360 is superb - check out the reviews.

Is there a difference between this and the TJ61-RB-030 ? Or is it just the colour?
