Postage on Amazon.com is $5. I'm yet to find a UK supplier.

The youtube demo looks quite good.

by the looks of things Padtab are trying to break in to the UK market judging by their message here http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-2-forum/20693-ready-ipad-2-padtab-wall-mount-fully-compatible.html

I did email them about that. They referred me to the German Amazon site until they sort out the UK one.

I was also looking at the Wallee which looks quite good. Not as cheap as this though.

Why?

Why not? Different people have different requirements. Mine will be linked up to the hi-fi and used as a juke box when we're not using for surfing the net etc.

Okay, so I read the description of this product. It never states anything other than what it is: plastic and adhesive. Which...is...ugly. Face it, the iPad is a wonderful example of minimalist design. Sticking plastic on it..? well, it certainly cheapens the whole Apple aesthetic. It changes the overall look, certainly, but how does it feel? Terrible. When I picked up the iPad to use as a reading device my fingers caught on the plastic. And that video showing it slipping into an iPad case? Yup, you can do it... if you don't mind the deformation, wear, and discolored imprint of the PadTab where it stretches the case. This product is quite bad. And expensive, considering it's (you guessed it) plastic and adhesive. I guess they figured they could get away with charging a premium because it had to word PAD in it. And as for all those 5 star reviews? Well, they struck me as slightly suspect, even when I was first reading them. Now they certainly sound like words from a marketing department, dressed up to look like customer reviews. Skip this product. I am now looking for a solution that mounts on the wall and just cradles the iPad rather than forcing me to change the functional look and feel. (P.S. good luck getting the adhesive off your wall or iPad. Had to repaint my wall. And I'm still peeling away the residue from the back of my iPad).

Not a bad price considering the Wallee iPad case is £40!

For all the tw4ts out there who want to show off

Just one use - the iPad is a fantastic way to search and view endless recipes, wall mount it in the kitchen and keep your work space clear and your iPad safe from liquids etc.

But then I'm brain dead and looking to show off - idiots on this place.

That would work.. Until it gets water damage from the steam. Seriously - £500 for a wall mounted recipe book, fantastic value!

Yes because Im suggesting that would be it's only use aren't I? The iPad is detachable you understand.

Would you like me to list how many ways an iPad can be used to justify it's price
