does anyone manage to wash these darn things and use them with other colours or are they disposed of? Never had success with washing one out properly, even if to use the next day for more work with the same colour

If using next day then just cover with clingfilm and use again without anything drying out. If cleaning for future use, I tend to clean out thoroughly, store in water for a short time and then wash out again.

At these prices though you are basically talking throw away and use new ones IMO. Wilkinsons are circa £2 for basic and assuming these will be better quality based on coming from Screwfix. Hoping to get a few days good weather to get a coat on the house before bad winter hence why I was looking for decent rollers.

Agreed.

I stopped washing rollers out, pain in the ar$$e, and as Sid states, never get it fully clean enough to use a different colour anyways.

Cling-film will keep it fresh for a few days, not really tested it longer than that as jobs normally done.

Takes a shed load of water. Like others suggest I usually clingfilm. Different roller sizes drives me up the wall though. Must have about 3 different sizes. Why they couldn't agree on one standard is beyond me.

Have you seen the "Dandy Pro Paint Brush & Roller Cleaner" . I have the previous version - works a treat. Available at QVC and elsewhere.
