Can't see the point in this product (not that anybody has benchmarked it). This binned product will be slower than the 768mb full fat versions unless maybe your trying to game above 1920x1080 and require the extra bandwidth, in which case I doubt you will be looking at this level of card.

If it was less than £100 and from a good retailer then it might be worth a look.

i don't think so that many people playing on resolution 800x600 these days :) lol first of all all 1gb version has bit rate of 256, all 768mb versions 192. better overclocking potential aswell. and for £111 you can't go wrong.

this version is overclocked edition, so it's faster than normal 1gb editions. but if you know how to overclock yourself, i don't see any problems getting this one.(different brands has different overclocking potential,it would be good to google for it first)

The GIGABYTE card is overclocked out of the box which seems to be quite a common occurrence with this model. The card has moved from the 675MHz / 1350MHz / 3600MHz Memory clocks to a 715MHz / 1430MHz / 3600MHz setup.

so it just depends how good overclocker is palit 1gb SE card is.

and check the price if £30-£40 difference worth small gain in performance. personally me i would go for it, but i don't need one now.

we are talking here about 1GB version, and not 768MB. if you can provide link for same card cheaper, share with us, cos many people wants to get 1GB over 768MB (when the price about the same)
i don't mind to pay extra £10 to gain 10%-20% performance.

Yes but this is the underclocked with one core disabled so starts off 20% slower than a standard 1gb model and will probably be out done by many overclocked 768mb versions. I'm guessing none have been benchmarked as they have not supplied any hoping the headlines will sell cards without people noticing. Dabs have the full fat version of this card for £130 so you would be better off with that.

Palit are trying to trick consumers into thinking this is a full spec 1gb gtx 460. Well it is not. In fact it's quite the opposite. You can get an OC Pny 460 GTX from pixmania for a few quid extra.

I am going to buy a GTX 460 1gb i the next few days but need to buy from Amazon-due to vouchers. With that in mind the Palit is the cheapest but i have a small doubt about the ram not having any heatsinks. So the http://www.amazon.co.uk/PNY-GeForce-GTX-460-Graphics/dp/B003YQ2P5U/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=computers&qid=1293796346&sr=8-1
or the

look interesting choices. Although maybe just the Gigabyte 1gb. Can i ask for some views from you guys please ?
