Innocence Has A Power Evil Cannot Imagine.

Pan's Labyrinth is the story of a young girl that travels with her mother and adoptive father to a rural area up North in Spain, 1944 - after Franco's victory. The girl lives in an imaginary world of her own creation and faces the real world with much chagrin. Post-war Fascist repression is at its height in rural Spain and the girl must come to terms with that through a fable of her own.

I am a real tough guy who can cut onions and rub them in his eyes and still not a tear , but at the end of this it is so moving i was struggling not to (such an amazing twist because you feel so sad then you almost cry with happiness instead because of what happens ) .
I have had my PS3 over a year now and not bought a BLU-RAY disc but this is in my top 5 movies that I have seen and I'm going to order this , hell this is even a good price for this Film on DvD.

Right im off to change my username feel like a right bleedin pansy now !

For anyone thinking of buying this, it is in Spanish with English subtitles. When I rented the Blu-ray I spent an age trying to find the English language setting on the PS3 before I realised.

Still a great film though.

LOL who would of thought, a Spanish film in Spanish, what is the world coming to :whistling: Anyone who watches this with English dubbing only deserves to watch Michael Bay movies from now on :whistling:

Great film, totally not what I was expecting.

Well worth it on Blu-ray as well - I'm attempting to cut down the amount of films I buy but this is an exception.

Out of stock - but ordered via Quidco anyway. Heat added!

Well, it is a "15" - could be a good reason why the under 15's shouldn't watch it...

Very good film, one of my friends had just got a PS3 and we saw this for £10 in WH Smith. I warned him that he wouldn't want to buy normal dvd's again if he bought this... Looked fantastic so yeah, I am buying this one now... :-D

The Devils Backbone is the "brother" film to this one and as another poster has mentioned, they are both in Spanish with english subs.
