Innocence Has A Power Evil Cannot Imagine.

Pan's Labyrinth is the story of a young girl that travels with her mother and adoptive father to a rural area up North in Spain, 1944 - after Franco's victory. The girl lives in an imaginary world of her own creation and faces the real world with much chagrin. Post-war Fascist repression is at its height in rural Spain and the girl must come to terms with that through a fable of her own.

Wicked film

I feel sorry for those who are allergic to subtitled films because they will be missing out on this modern adult fantasy classic!

Wonderful film, well worth 3 quid.

Got this on HD Dvd, cracking film. One of a small number of films thats got me to shed a tear at the end  I didn't own a subtitled film before this so don't let that put you off, you forget they are there after the first few minutes. Same director as the Hellboy films, The Orphange plus a few more cracking films. Del Toro doesn't make many bad ones

Got it on Blu-ray meself!

Del Toro didn't direct The Orphanage (which was quite disappointing I thought) - he just produced it!

good deal poster - and pretty HOT - dont dispute that - but as for the movie - terrible IMHO - just hope this guy doesn't mess up "The Hobbit" ........

This is an awful, poorly thought out movie which doesn't make sense on any level. It has nothing to say and says it very well. Avoid!
