On line and In store

I went to look at the 32" Technika deal in store but stumbled across one of these, looks like it's full HD 1080p but not confirmed this yet. EDIT- Think it will take a 1080p input but may be 720 display (as comments below)

I know its not 32" it's 26" but should do me as it's not in my main room.
(It's also not Technika it's Panasonic)

looks like 720p to me

Yes this is 720p and no it won't make a blind bit of difference that it's only 720p and not 1080p before the "it's crap 'cause it's not 1080p" bunch come crying.

Saw this in-store yesterday, going back to buy 1 today - good price for a bedroom telly - heat and rep added.

Gets a bit tiresome the 'it's not 1080p'-type line.

"It's a Panasonic" is more the line which indicates a good picture.

"It's a 26 inch" indicates that 1080p is not in the least bit necessary.

Some people get carried away with specifications rather than what a TV is about i.e. a good picture.

1080p only really makes a difference if your goingt to attach a PC to use it as monitor

Is it much worse when watching SD broadcasts? Do you have this Panasonic to compare it with?

I thought Iiyama's were mainly for PCs. Tvs are mainly for watching TV.

Picking up on an old thread if anyone is interested in this TV. Available for £249.97 refurbished from Tesco Outlet shop on ebay with 12 month warranty.

Very tempted as a second TV for dining room!!??

Refurbished:

The 'Refurbished' items are customer returns. A large proportion of these items have never been used. They might, for example, be unwanted gifts or products customers have simply changed their mind about, which have then been returned to us.

They have been checked, inspected, repaired (if necessary), graded and reboxed complete with all accessories, however may have minor cosmetic marks that do not affect or hinder the functionailty in any way. All refurbished items will be clearly marked in the description.

These items offer excellent value for money along with the reassurance that they are supported by a full 12 month Tesco Outlet warranty.

Response to query regarding what refurbished actually means:

Thanks for you email, every product targeted for refurbishing must pass a thorough examination. We check and inspect them, returning the products to like-new or almost new condition. The condition of the product after refurbishing is indicated by the grade of the item. A grade refurbished items are as new, B grade products may have minor cosmetic blemishes. Any more queries please don't hesitate in contacting me back.
