The fantastic 37PX10B has been dropped from £449 to £349 in my local Sainsburys at Hayes. I was browsing the store yesterday when I came across it. I know Sainsburys is hit or miss so please don't blame me if it's not nationwide - I don't believe it will be.

I think this is a brilliant price for admittedly an old model now but still going strong IMHO. For those who don't know too much about this tv, please see the description below. It's not 1080p or even 1080i as its 1024 X 720 resolution. However, it has very good reviews everywhere and you really can't argue with that.

I'm posting this at work so can't post any pics so any help would be appreciated.

Good TV, Good Price!!!
#2
Do we know if this is in more than 1 store?
Or are people just voting on the one store where it is more than likely going to be the last few?

How would that effect the voting anyway?

That's a great price but expect this to be the norm as TV's without HDFreeview or HDFreesat become quickly obsolete.
#5
I have this TV and it is amazing.
#6
Great Price, great picture. Had mine for £549 for a year. 5 years warranty is a must with plasmas imo, but this is a great price.

Yup, that's it! Truly one of the best tv's I've come accross. Unlike some plasmas it does well in full light due to the anti reflective coating Panasonic uses. Can't recommend it highly enough at this price.

It does have Freeview.

What I said is it doesn't have HDFreeview, which is now available in most parts of the UK, and it doesn't have HDFreesat which is available UK wide.

I don't think obsolete is the right word! You're right to suggest a built in HD tuner will become the norm but freesat/freeview HD box 's will also drop in price when it happens so I see no reason not to buy this TV at this price. Think I'll get one myself if I see one.
#21
was this just the one shop?

no sign of it on their internet site.
#22
great price for a panasonic, imho plasma's look better than LCD's across the range of definitions.
#23
Excellent TV at an excellent price. Had one for over a year. IMO the only weakness is the sound but that is definitely acceptable.

I think these Sainsburys deals are a bit of a ploy. They get good coverage on sites like HUKD but I have never been lucky enough to actually find one in store when I check out their superstore locations near to me. Each time I go bargain hunting though I do stop to pick up some groceries while I'm there so they are making money off me and getting me into their stores (I usually shop at Tesco). OK - I admit that as a conspiracy theory this is pretty lame...

I know...:-D

However, you might want to try telephoning before you set out as I've been on quite a few wild goose chases in my time!
