Thankyou :)

Good price, but these are only going to get cheaper with the new range (G20, V20 etc.) coming out.

I wouldn't count on it. TVs tend to plateau in price just before the release of a new model. When those new models are released at extortionate prices, retailers that still have stock of the older model realise they can charge more, and do so.

Out of Stock now!

i've just got this tv ....
hope it goes nicely with my new sky hd pack

A good price for a good tele but G20's are available on pre-order now, and this year it's got those Freeview HD tuners onboard as well as the usual yearly incremental updates.

£669 G10 or £1099 G20

The G20 is by all accounts better than the V10, which is also >£1k

Mmm.. Play have the S20 on pre-order at £779. No 5 yr guarantee of course and still an unknown quantity.
BTW - voting this Hot, but not hot enough for me to get my wallet out. I probably would if I had a sat dish.

not 240Hz tho I guess?
#14

#15
good tell - got the 46'' version - brill picture - well worth my hard earned money :)

I missed out on this TV after Xmas. I looked everywhere for a similar deal and managed to get the TX-P42G15 for £699 at Richer Sounds. Might be worth considering if you have missed out on this offer again.
#17
gutted I missed this!!

G20 is getting good reviews, might be worth holding off for, no internal fans, thinner unit as well as other improvements to black levels.
#19
Well it all comes down to whether or not you can wait until another deal comes along for a particular model, or whether you find another deal that meets your needs because you need a replacement ASAP. As for waiting for the G20 to fall, I'm sure there will be another model worth holding out for at that stage with a better spec etc...

Wow nice. Has anyone tried to get TopCashBack or Quidco on a TV? TCB is 5% = £33.45

Yeah and it looks great, hard to beat the Pannys. However, its almost double the price of this TV and will probably be a while before it starts to drop in price.

I bought this telly due to the fact, everyone says it is brilliant...

So I have it... I've had it for 3 months... Why is it so brilliant..

I thought it had DLNA, but it doesn't, it has a pointless Ethernet port on it. Gutted.

What do peeps use to to stream stuff through their TV?
#26
PS3 - Acer Aspire - Eggbox - PC - NAS Server?
#27
Anyone think this will come back in stock again? Would be perfect for what my dad wants and a good price with 5ry warranty too.
#28

Ask them what equivalent they're going to provide you with......hint the replacement G20 is out now

Cheers megalomaniac, they offered to knock half the difference off the G15, making it £785. Not sure if its a good deal or not, but I declined anyway as its a bit more than I wanted to spend.

Roll on Easter sales!
