I've been holding out for the G20 to come down in price, besides freeview hd, what's the difference between the G10 & the G20?

G20 adds freeview HD, Viera cast, 4HDMI, THX and 130w power consumption (200w on G10) and £200 on top. Personally I don't think thats worth the extra.

what about the tv panel. how much difference?
is it neopdp or 600hz? does that even make a 200quid difference???
#6
err.. why is this getting voted cold?! 24deg down to 10?!

G10 has freesat HD, Neo PDP panel (deeper blacks, lower consumption), 600Hz sub field drive and 100Hz. Also has 3 HDMI inputs. Great tv for the money, blacks comparable to 2008 pioneer kuro models but 1080p.

Apparently the deep blacks may not last :- http://news.cnet.com/8301-17938_105-10462105-1.html?tag=mncol;txt

Panasonic has confirmed that its plasma TVs reproduce brighter black levels by design as they age, but will not divulge exactly how much brighter after how long. New testing conducted by CNET provides some hints.

Results from two aged Panasonic plasma TVs purchased in 2009 indeed show brighter blacks, and correspondingly reduced picture quality, compared with similar 2009 models with fewer hours.

G10 has Freesat HD & Freeview which is not HD. G20 has both freesat HD and Freeview HD.
