yes the s10 is somewhat inferior.

the s10 is 400hz this is 600hz

the g10 also has freesat, as well as the latest neopdp panels

also mands has the free blu ray player, and the company has a better credit rating than richer sounds who may not be around in 4 years should ur tv pack in by then!
#15
Dont know personaly, my grandad has a plasma (yes my grandad) and never noticed his being perticualy hot, though i think they do use more power than an lcd?
#16
With quidco this tv & blueray just cost me £620.91. inc a five year warranty & installation. Top Deal

Yes but not at that price and not with a free blu ray etc. Absolutely unbelieveable bargain had there.
#22
In a way glad it is out of stock, i think 42" will be tooo big for the room. Is there a chart which shows what is the ideal TV screen size for a certain size room?

My daughter got this deal [with the free bluray player] when it was £728 all in and the set is just superb!

This deal is even better! :w00t:

I suggest anyone wanting it, to try instore [it's what we did when the BR player was OOS online] whenever they are next open.

The player is easily made region free for DVD with an All 4 One remote [see AVForums for details] and I also discovered that the front USB port will play .avi files from a memory stick/hard drive!

Unfortunately the free 7 blurays offer from Panasonic has ended on 18th December

Don't cry DragonChris - you still got a fantastic deal and 'I promise' you'll NEVER regret buying your Panny Plasma - I've got 4 and they are all fantastic (I've bought them over the years and my kids have 2 of them in their bedrooms). They've never missed a beat and the biggest mistake I ever made (TV wise) was buying a 'top of the range' Sony 40 inch LCD - the picture quality stinks compared to the Panny Plasmas.

Even my old 42 inch pre HD plasma still has an AWESOME picture and it is super reliable - I've got 5 year guarantees with them all and never needed to use one of them.

There are 2 such offers one expired on 18th and the other 3 Jan but both were pulled from retailler Websites on or around 18th. If you search google you should still find the PDF for the one that expires 3 Jan and with your e-receipt you should have time to get the claim in, in theory.

Happy Christmas everyone :santa:

Not wanting to rain on anyone's parade but it appears that this TV is not the best when showing a SD picture....so to avoid disappointment I would advise anyone thinking of buying one to make sure you view the TV before you decide to buy.

I purchased the tv and the blu-ray player at about 00.05 this morning, the free blu-ray player was still being advertised, but when I added it to my basket I was charged the £219.

After the purchase I went back to the TV link, and took a screen grab of the offer, which was still being displayed. I expect them to honor it, they are normally pretty good about these things.

I will post the picture after I have had the discussion!

I bought this for £749 2 weeks ago, do you think they will refund me the difference ie. do they have a policy to refund within a certain timescale if price changes ? similar to Amazons im hoping, but i doubt it

We just bought the S10 (newer than X10 but not as new as the G10) and the SD picture is fantastic (through the built in freeview). We have had a digital aerial installed and this makes a big difference (it did on the old CRT) and our picture is fantastic, cannot be happier.

If anyone is concerned about the SD, perhaps you too should invest in a better aerial :)

Happy hunting!
