FREENDAY does not work for some reason but 3.50 isn't going to break the bank, was going to buy this at 533 from amazon but 582 with a blue ray and five years guarentee has swung it. Ordered at the price originally quoted. 582.50.
It has now gone up to 553 on Amazon.

delivery by Friday 15th......

Title should still read 582.50, unless someone knows how to get the 3.50 to work. and 3.50 when spending 582??Does it matter?
#10
5 years guarantee an added bonus.

paid £649 a month ago, with 5 yr warrenty, but no blu-ray player, cracking set, great deal!

Site says free delivery so it must/should be possible, I'm sure M&S would refund the £3.50 if phoned.

Are you able to stream media to this TV?
#15
Can't find anything on this TV online, that worries me somewhat.
#16
Great tv and player. I purchased both in a similar deal offered by Comet 3 months ago and cannot be happier.

??? Can't find anything?

It's £549 at Richer Sounds without the free Blu Ray Player or the 5 year warranty. HERE

I think you're struggling to find it as the model is TXP42S20 without the final P.Try it again.

Gutted, getting a new telly but haven't got the money for it yet otherwise I'd be right in there for this deal. Heat added.
#19
The Bluray player isn't worth £159, can get it for £79.95 at RS http://www.richersounds.com/product/blu-ray/panasonic/dmpbd45/pana-dmpbd45

The tv isn't bad for a budget one, the 5 year warranty is well worth it.

I had this tv for a little while, gaming on it is great only has something like 17ms input lag. picture wise its good unless in bright light the colours wash out . Sound was better than expected when you use the surround mode. menus are boring. I ended up returning it though because i saw the LG pk590 in currys.

Dug up a long-forgotten HUKD account to say thanks to the OP.

Decided on this TV a few days ago, was minutes away from buying from Amazon for about £20 less. Free blu-ray player + warranty makes this a fantastic deal in my book.

Been thinking about this one all afternoon, and finally placed an order just now - seems like a great deal to me. I had a Panasonic 50" recently (shared, partner's got it now...) and was really pleased with it, so hope this will be just as good.

Just in case there are any TfL workers reading this - you can get 5% cashback through the TfL scheme.

There's only so many times you can tell people this without it driving you nuts.

You have to add the TV and the Blu ray player to the basket. The discounts are applied when you checkout.

It's all in the initial post.

Although this deals expired today I would add it to favourites and keep watching it over the next few days. M & S did a similar Samsung TV/blu ray deal two weeks ago, it went off promotion for a day or two, then it went back on promotion again. So it may be worth your while to follow this TV deal and see what happens!

I hope so, this would be a perfect deal for the in-laws, so fingers crossed.

To think only two days earlier I paid £599 at John Lewis for exactly the same TV with no Blu-Ray player, and even considered buying exactly the same model on offer at Richer Sounds for £74.99...

Right, time to test the following out to see if they will match this...

If you have to email them, the screen shot of the 'Order Summary' posted on the first page may help your case, send it to them if you feel it will help.

Good luck with it, hope they do.

I went into store. They weren't the most helpful, but I am going to use this site and everything else in my power. I thought at the time of seeing this that I would just buy it on M&S then return mine, but read the NKU policy and thought that I would be covered. I will keep you up to date on here and thanks for the support.

Hey,
Could someone who has this TV tell me if it has the following features?
- It has an SD slot. What kind of Videos does it play from that? AVI, MPEG, DIVX...?
- Does it support youTube etc.? How is the internet connection possible? Only with ethernet cable, or is there a wireless option?

Thank you very much!

Finally, after two written attempts got John Lewis to match it.

Had to go in store and argue the toss with the duty manager with evidence and an annotated never knowingly undersold leaflet then show the bloke this offer from HUKD. Even though I'd printed it off. He apologied and said he would recommend training to staff as a result and threw in a gold plated HDMI cable into the mix. Well worth buying from JL if you can argue the toss.

Good for you, did they match the Blu-ray player, the price or both?

I bought mine at £599. I got £21 back (but I bought a £25 HDMI cable and the guy knocked the 4 quid off for my trouble) plus the Blu-ray player. Only trouble is I didn't anticipate getting the BR player there and then and I was on my bike.

I took it and cycled back ever so carefully! Just need to get some Blu-Ray’s now!!

Thanks for all those that have shown an interest in my plight, esecially Acx!
