We all know about Littlewoods codes, but if you are prepared to use them, its an Excellent deal! To get this price You have to use the 15% off code XX338. It also takes about £9 off for readjusted VAT.
If you want to pay Next April 2010 you can also use the code XX342. Both codes work together. There is however a 3 week delivery time.

The reason I put the code for paying next April 2010 is that it gives you time to take an additional warranty after the 12 month warranty expires without having to pay anything now

Good spot mate.

Passed on the buy now pay next year and used my Nationwide card so that I will get an extra years warranty from them.

Can't believe it's so cheap my Hitachi Plasma cost me 2 grand and I had to barter hard to get it for that price.

I am too but my thought is I'll order the telly and wait for the discount to be applied to my account before opening the box. If its not applied then I'll send the goods back (bit awkward with a big telly but worth the gamble I suppose).

When i posted about littlewoods vouchers last night on someones thread who was selling a shuffle second hand more than a new one the people ripped me a new **** they asked where a shuffle could be bought cheaper than the £54 the guy wanted a so i posted it from littlewood and mentioned the 15% and the £30 off and they said these where not valid deals for everyone and only for new customers even though we all know the ways round it and the 15% is for exstitng customers as i used it last week dont you feel a bunch of tankers now as these codes still stand up and we all use them.

Without wanting to start a mass debate maybe someone could 'quickly' fill me in on the littlewoods code issue?

I've never used them but I'm interested in this deal, I read the t&c's for the codes and it says you pay in full and then they refund the discount code - sounds bad to me. I presume people have had the codes refused after purchasing? Can you not just cancel the order then?

Also, has anyone used quidco - does it go through? This is a great deal at £430 - worth risking it without the guarantee.

Where has this code come from - is it OK to use or an individuals one?

In short codes meant for individuals were posted on forums like this one which people used for discounts and AD then took the additional money from peoples accounts when they realised that the discounts were being abused. It made bbc news i think?? As a rule of thumb, if the codes come off their own site and you fit their criteria then go for it. This is a steal especially if you can get the John lewis one with the 5 year warrenty. if budget is tight stick to AD.

Quidco is a small registration process and the search retailer in top left corned. click on the 2 further links that take you to the retailer your after. Buy the product your after and within a few minutes hours or sometimes days the "cashback" is tracked. it can take a few months to pay out but you can keep an eye on the progress from traked to validated to recieved to paid, hope tis helps.

Thanks for that. I've got a quidco accoutn already so no problem there. I'm now concerend about these codes! If they do decide to charge back the discount when do they normally do this? If they do it before/on they dispatch then surely you can just send it straight back. if they do it a week or two later, after you've opened it etc, I presume your goignt o have to keep it?

Does anyone know where this 15% code comes from - anyone had it refused after ordering?
