Been using this site for a while now but this is my first post. Hope it helps someone.

Been wanting this model of cordless phone for my new house for a while now but its always been £80 plus for the dual handsets. Spotted this on Dixons the other day, down to £64.99 from £89.99.

Then use code "CORDLESS" to get a further 5% off bringing it down to £58.49 plus £4.95 delivery. I searched everywhere for a free delivery code but couldnt find one anywhere.

From what I have read the panasonic DECT phones are head and shoulders above the rest and this model has exceptional range, functionality and sound clarity. Reevoo reviews it 9/10

Cheers all

Why cold? Does someone know a better deal for these as I'm looking for a new cordless phone? :? Hot from me unless I see them cheaper! Not sure if Dixons have reduced VAT on products yet? May be worth waiting to see.

Thanks for the post Bud888.

No probs.

Im not sure why its cold either, trust me, you wont find this cheaper anywhere. The only other place that is comparable is John Lewis at £64.99 plus delivery. Maybe people are thinking £63 is too expensive for cordless phones considering you can get "dodgyika" phones in Tesco for the price of a loaf of bread. Forgetting the fact they are not worth the box they come in!

If you are after Panasonic cordless dect multiple packs, you can get the Panasonic KXTG1103ES triple pack for less than £47 at amazon.

I wasnt posting anything about the KXTG1103ES. They are lower class model. Plus they look really wick, grey plastic ... YUK!

My deal is only for the model posted above which is £75 on amazon

Which is not the same product, therefore invalid for the discussion... But I suppose it's ok as a cheap alternative, but if this deal is the cheapest for this phone, it deserves heat.

I don't really care what you are talking about. Someone else has posted about buying a new cordless phone. I have told them where to get some highly rated phones from the same company cheaper than this deal. They do the same job with probably the same quality sound as the deal you posted. Options and choices. That is the whole point of this site, isn't it?

Sorry but your post about the KXTG1103ES is completely irrelevant to the OP, the KXTG1103ES have no more in common with the phones in this post in that they can make and receive phone calls and happen to have a Panasonic badge , the technical spec between the two are a world apart.

I have got a set of KXTG8322E which I got from JL for £64.99 delivered a couple of weeks ago and can say they are good quality phones with excellent features, the build quality is fine but a little lightweight and the ringtone volume is a fair bit quieter than my previous Panasonic DECT system (KXTG8120E). The one feature I really do like about the 8322 is the incoming call barring which allows you to block up to 20 incoming numbers, useful for any repeated unwanted callers.

This is a good deal even if it only a couple of quid less than what I paid, every penny counts.

If these are so far apart that me saying that a much cheaper DECT system from panasonic is available is completely irrelevant, then can you list the features of this (first?) class system compared to the lower class system that I mentioned? Which of those features are really important?

For me, decent handset build, good range, multiple handsets, good quality sound, 100 or so preset numbers are important.

Was checking their delivery KB (https://comet.custhelp.com/cgi-bin/comet.cfg/php/enduser/std_adp.php?p_faqid=102&p_created=1060251263&p_sid=K1BBzNjj&p_accessibility=0&p_redirect=&p_lva=14&p_sp=cF9zcmNoPTEmcF9zb3J0X2J5PSZwX2dyaWRzb3J0PSZwX3Jvd19jbnQ9MSwxJnBfcHJvZHM9JnBfY2F0cz0zNTMmcF9wdj0mcF9jdj0xLjM1MyZwX3BhZ2U9MSZwX3NlYXJjaF90ZXh0PW5vcnRoZXJuIGlyZWxhbmQ*&p_li=&p_topview=1), and it stated that:

Question
Do you deliver/ship outside the UK?

Answer
At present, Comet only delivers/ships within the UK mainland. Our Website provides details on delivery availability when you enter your delivery postcode.

As Northern Ireland would not be considered mainland as it requires additional travel to get to from mainland GB, I would assume comet do not deliver over here. Comet also do not have any NI stores. They are also unable to deliver to the Isle of Man apparently. Perhaps the OP could specify that this is the best deal for Northern Ireland/those external to mainland GB.

Thought it might help.

If you can't be bothered to check the spec yourself then why should i do the work for you?

But since you asked, the ones you quoted only hold 50 numbers so that's already 50 down on the minimum you wanted.

the rest of the features are important enough if you need them, I do use the 200 number phone book, I do use the 9 calling groups, I do use the incoming call bar feature.

Actually why am I even bothering to answer you, it has already been proved that your suggestion is irrelevant to to the OP. If I took it to your extreme I could say that 2 tin cans with string between them is cheaper but hey it does the same job so it must be a better deal:roll:

The problem here is that people lcomplain that a deal gets voted cold for no reason given, yet say other deals are irrelevant without giving a reason.
