no need to give me abuse for expressing my impartial views :p

sorry but who would buy a car hifi with no bluetooth - it's like buying a CRT telly :whistling:

IMHO not a very good deal:x

Appologies if you found that abusive have edited it, I dont claim £4.90 is going to change your life - or buy you a cruise, but I'd rather have £4.90 saving in my pocket than not.
As for no bluetooth it doesnt really bother me, the USB input does however and it has one of those.

I would buy one without bluetooth.

Why does one need bluetooth on a car radio? ... Presumably for phone calls? ... I've got a handsfree kit anyway, so it's no use to me ... None of my friends have bluetooth on their car stereos. so ... ?

Well, that's a matter of opinon, as some comments are very positive! For one thing it has Bluetooth, as well as usb/card reader which as far as I can see are the only reasons most people would be changing their standard car radio for something at this cheap end of the market, other than to fit one in an old banger. Most modern cars have better radios than this sort as standard, so for those, it would be a bit of a downgrade! Unfortunately the one you posted here doesn't have bluetooth - it needs an extra component which no-one seems to list or stock, and I agree with the previous poster, that's like buying a CRT TV :-(

And yes, it's wireless.

So have I..... in fact I have a long succession of different types, and that illustrates how poor or inconvenient they all are! Unless you have the fitted type (Like Parrot) then they are all POOR, and clearly the reason so many people continue not to use one even though it is an Endorsable offence.

I have looked at DOZENS of handsfree units over the years and bought several too, (BT headsets are great for use at home with a PC for VOIP calls, but lousy for car use) I use a Bluetooth Visor now, (well researched one that is well spoken of!) and it is only just about passable at under about 50mph on quiet roads! The only upward move now is a hard wired unit which are expensive and mean cutting holes all over the car, or a Bluetooth radio head unit, which seems to be a bit of a problem unless you pay serious money which I was trying to avoid! :-(

Bluetooth would be useful for people with Bluetooth MP3s. Although does have aux input so not all bad.
