Certainly look s to be the best price for this camera. Don't know enough about the camera itself to know whether there are better alternatives, but certainly looks like a good buy for somebody who wants a budget compact with a wide angle lens. Having had a very quick look at a couple of online reviews suggests that it may suffer a bit more than most from noise at higher iso, but this shouldn't be too much of an issue if you usually take pictures in good light.

I'm unsure whether to vote hot or warm, but as it's your first deal, I'll be kind and vote hot!

This is a great camera, picked it up recently in Dubai for £105 including case and 2 x 1Gb SD cards.

Really pleased with the photo quality (although I am no expert by any means).

Very compact camera, ideal for carrying when you're out and about. Tend to take it everywhere now and use it so much more than my old one which was far too bulky.

Great post, great price, good spot.:thumbsup::thumbsup:

(I have some browser error preventing me voting hot for this)

I think only a mod will be able to add a picture to your main post. Here's one for the thread at least. I'm at home :)

The stand-out feature of this camera is its 28mm wide angle lens. You'll be able to fit more into your images when space is tight, at home for instance. With the usual 35-38mm wide lenses you'd have to stand further back, not always possible if there isn't room to move.

I think you would be mad to trade in your Fuji F20 for this. From the reviews i've read, its images are quite noisy and its low light level picture taking ability is no where near as good as the f20's.

Apart from the F31fd and F30 the F20 is a real catch as a cheap quality camera. I bought my Mum a brand new one from Tescos for £67 a couple of months ago and am now searching for one for my girlfriend and can't find one anywhere for less than £99 except from Ebay refurbished.

Very useful feature, one of the main reasons I picked up an LX2 for my compact camera as I'm often shooting indoors where there's just not enough room to fit everything in. Also worth bearing in mind this camera has a very good IS mechanism to assist it in low light although it can't stabilise moving subjects.

These cameras are great. I have the FX07 which has a similar spec.

I have the TZ3 which is great. When I was looking around at the whole range of cameras in the field ALL cameras had problems with low quality at high ISO's, the only way to get over that is to buy a DSLR, you cannot get perfect photos under all conditions with a compact camera, especially not one as small as these.

If the Sony takes good night photos then go for that, got to go with the best you can get atthe time you're looking.
