Not a lot more for a Ps3 at the moment and for a stand alone player I would go for this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sony-BDPS350-Blu-ray-Player-1080p/dp/B001DN1SP4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1228390877&sr=8-1 at £154.99

Agree the Sony is a good buy. I have a panasonic tv and wanted it to match and also has the viera link options.
Has good reviews:

unfortunately the free bluray offer finished on 31st dec and was restrictive in terms of dates you had to have bought a player "within". A shame for late comers as you had to have your details with panasonic BEFORE 31st dec. e.g. if you bought in the boxing day sales you wouldnt make it in time.
