great price but the reviews still point to the sony as being the better player
checking on cex it looks like you can get around £38 cash for the 4 blurays if they are not your taste

This may be of interest to some people - reviewers on Amazon have pointed out that the Panasonic lacks a 'memory' function.
i.e. the machine forgets where you got to if you press Stop or if the disc's removed.
Most other machines, including the Sony, seem to have this.

if you can get to the new RGBdirect store in Ilford (essex) you can get it for £139, or go to richersounds and get them to match it (i did this week)
