What's with the Costa Coffee link!
#3
It was supposed to link to Costco but somehow ended up linking Costa - I can't seem to change it.
Regardless of if people are not able to buy from Costco it is a good deal and surely this is to rate if the deal is hot or not - if you are a Costco member then you can take advantage of this deal.
#4
Hot for me. And my whole family qualify to be members and not one is self employed or a civil servant.

I could say the same about Makro.

Could say the same about a host of other retailers - best buy, netto, nisa etc for me anyway - doesn't matter IMO.

What matters is that years down the line folk keep spelling blu-ray wrong.

The company I work for give Costco memberships to its employees so this works for me and Costco members would always welcome a good deal.
Great find - was looking for a new Blu-Ray player, this is a cracking player especially for the money as I was looking at this a couple of weeks ago! Heat from me especially as this £150 - £160 else where.

As are the other stores I mentioned but they're mainly down south and I can't therefore benefit from their deals on here.

this is a great deal costco is the future
#11
Damn, was in Costco earlier today. If I had seen it, I would have probably picked one up.
#12
Got this model. Excellent price.
#13
which Costco? The one in Gateshead never seem to have any of the deals posted on here
#14
The one in Leeds - but presume other Costco's will have stock also. Mines all connected up and picture/sound is fantastic - very pleased with this deal!

Oh STFU so people can't post deal for Costco what about Makro how about if you're in the highlands and don't have a Sainsburys, Tesco, Morrisons etc near you? I am 30+ miles away from the nearest B+Q should I object to those deals?

Dear lord....

For anybody who already have this, how does the quality compare to a ps3 slim?
Not much results in google.
Amazon reviews look good.
Also anybody know if Trafford costco have this offer? At work so can't make phone call.
Many thanks

Yes, it does. Update to the latest firmware (1.70) and it plays the majority of mkvs via USB and disc. It's also has a free multi region hack for DVD via all in one control and can be made multi region for Blu-ray via paid for firmware from firmwareinfo.com. Good player.

Is it worth getting the DMP-BD75 for £69.97 from Tesco over this?
http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.210-0604.aspx
Using the £15 off code: TDX-PTRT

Depends on what exactly you want, the bd75 is this years model, so has slight improvements over last years model. However, given the price difference, I don't think it's worth the difference. The Bd65 also has an optical out if you need it for an old receiver.

Either will be a huge improvement on the usual technika rubbish the majority of people on this site buy

Why so precious about not posting Costco deals?
Stores are few and far between so any info on great deals to avoid wasted journeys is welcome

Can I hook up an extrernal hard drive to the usb and use it for mkv's?

Does it read NTFS/FAT32?
#39
Costco doesn't guarantee the same price for exactly the same product across the UK stores. A cheaper price in one store usually indicates they need to shift stock. I found this out when I wanted to buy a shelving rack for my business and Edmonton were priced £20 more for exactly the same item than Watford. Since I needed to buy 3, I made the trip to Watford and saved myself £60.

Maybe Costco deals need to indicate which branch they saw the deal.

As for this deal, it looks like exactly what I'm looking... thanks, voted Hot!

Yes, an external hdd will work, but no ntfs doesn't work. So you are limited to 4GB files. However, it does support DLNA, so if you install ps3 media server that is a way around it.
