Panasonic DMP-BD75EB-K Ultra Fast Booting 2D Blu-Ray Disc Player at Amazon £49.95
I'd asked for notification from camel camel camel if the price of this fell below £50. As luck would have it I just ordered the LG one from Woolworths....anyone able to advise me on whether this is a good bet? Or hold out for Woolies to come good?http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/lg-bp325-3d-smart-3d-bu-ray-player-39-00-woolworths-1325482

Jump to unread Post a CommentI own it, it's very slim and loads discs v.quickly. The picture quality is awesome.
I was actually looking at it earlier today when someone posted a deal for another DVD or BluRay player.

Mine's not noisy either. Superb picture quality and much better upscaling of my US TV downloads than my dedicated V Bridge media player - though it doesn't handle all file types.....
Bargain for the money.

I noted on one single star Amazon review that at the time the review was written the CD reproduction was poor....
Thanks again to all of you for your comments.
My home cinema receiver (Yamaha RXV-359) for example does not have HDMI sockets. The HDMI lead needs to go directly to the TV for picture and the optical or coaxial out needs to go to the receiver to take advantage of my 5.1 system.
That's why....for me anyway.
That's a major thing for me. Standard xvid avi files and HD mkv files in particular.
Give them a call and you might get lucky (worth it for the 2 year guarantee).
