Why cold? where can i get cheaper? or do people just vote cold for the sake of it on here?
isnt this just about to be replaced by Panasonic BD 60?
yes for an extra £70 depends how much you want to spend
I believe theBD60 and BD80 are already out.

Seems a good price though for what is a very good Blu-ray player. I'd be interested if anyone knows where to get it cheaper (or the later models for that fact!)
i think i read on a review that the sony 350 blu ray player was better tan this (in some aspects only slightly) and hat is cheaper than this? is this the case Ianm - i have a panny plasma so this would be perfect for that but i dont wanna compromise quality just because they all say panasonic on the front and work with the viera link thingy - i dont mind if they dont work.

how does this compare to they sony 350??
serious question from a someone in the market for a blu ray player
i'm the same as you i've been comparing reviews for Panny & the Sony & it seems the Panny is the better machine.
The only negative i read (apart from slightly longer loading times) is that vibration noise is a problem when playing films but i went in Bennetts earlier today where they had one playing & it was completely silent & the picture really did look fantastic.. imo
One review i read the guy bought both players, played them side by side & the Panny one hands down.... Hope this helps mate..
