No I already have the Sony Equivalent. which I got for £149 and thought I had got a bargain.

This looks a good bargain, luckly, I'm not working tomorrow, I shall look in at their New Malden or Sutton branch .

This is a really hot deal if it's a non store specific deal.

Pity the unit doesnt play divx, or xvid, and lacks a firewire input otherwise I'd have snapped one of these up..... even though I don't need it ......

GF reports 9 at Huntingdon this morning, got her to pick one up. Price was £109. (reduced from £219)

Yes, pity that it doesn't have USB and DivX but still hot at this price.

Thanks to OP.

None at New Malden or Sutton branches - the customer service desk seems to think this is not a store offer.
So maybe a one off at Huntingdon only.......

The only 768 at Hampton (Peterborough) is an ex-display priced at £197.

Yup. Dropped in to Huntingdon store yesterday en route to Cambridge and saw 'em stacked up. Great bargain. Trouble was, the OH was out in the car and I reckoned there was no way to smuggle the box into the back without her noticing :whistling:
