Good find - but can you avoid the caps please? Gives me a headache.

Spot on - just bought some extra handsets for my Panasonic, or I would have been buying these!

I understand the 7 series (as these are ) don't have the headset sockets, so if you are expecting those, as some Pqanasonic models do have them, check first, but apart from that, Panasonic are in their own league as far as DECT phones go.

Great spot - worth looking at the other phones in the 25% off deal:-

Save 25% on selected landline phones(online only)

I went for the PHILIPS CD4454S/05 which came to £59.99 after discount (I'm off to collect them from my local store now).

Heat added :)

how do you order online and then pickup in store?
it is only giving me the option of reserving for store pickup

If you add to the basket, go to checkout & enter the discount code, it then gives you the option to collect from store. just enter your postcode for the nearest branch with stock.

Print off the order confirmation & you can collect after 30 minutes of receiving the email confirmation.

Those Philips phones do look quite nice though, and in my opinion Philips is a very good brand.

However! I picked up a set of these Panasonic ones (same as in the OP) around Christmas time and they're great. Would definitely recommend getting caller ID from BT if you get these phones since there's a few very cool features, such as keeping a track of missed calls with numbers and also viewing the number (or name, if it's in the phonebook) when you receive a voice message.

Just picked mine up, the girl on the cash desk was amazed that it had another £17.50 knocked off! :-D
Quick question, does anyone know how to find out which numbers the handsets have allocated to them so you know which handset to transfer calls to? :? Oh, I did actually look in the manual, after trying everything else ;-) but I couldn't find any reference to it. Cheers.
#17
Voted HOT as its a good deal.

But I would want colour screens and SMS.

PS: To all those saying Panny cant be beaten for DECT phones, ever tried Siemens? I think you would change your mind rapido!
#18
whats so good about panasonic phones? cause i need some and was going to get a bt one some colour screen one cant remember the model number now saw this so not sure.
#19
I wouldn't buy BT ones again, mine are terrible!

I have gone through 7 sets of Quad phones from Binatone, BT, SWB, Phillips, and they have all been a load of rubbish. Some had to be returned immediately, the rest lasted just longer than the warranty periods. I have not found a thing yet that I would rec. After getting really annoyed with all the rubbish, I researched and can confirm that Siemens and Panasonic are a cut above. Although both of these makes are usually at least double the price of the rest.

I have gone for this set, and will see if I (Hopefully!) agree!

In some Tesco stores they have got limited supplies of Panasonics KX-TG8222EB for £54.95, but our local one has none in stock, so I have ordered these and am off to pick em up.

Nice find-- heat added:thumbsup:

I too am struggling with this, couldn't find it in the manual, but if you press INT from one of the phones followed by 1, 2 or 3 then run around trying to find the one that rings it then shows the handset number on screen.
