In one of the reviews it says these can randomly turn themselves off, that's why I got rid of my current set of phones, bloody useless.

can anybody confirm if they've had any problems with this?

Cheers

I have had mine since November, no problems whatsoever, I bet the reviewer didn't read the manual and give the phones an initial long charge.

got a set when they were £36.99, great phones
#20
Bought these phones about a week ago for the £52 and at that I still thought they where cheap

Nice interface, orange illumination is easy on the eye and makes for an easy screen to read. The buttons are great...soft touch and nice and big and the phones themselves are nice to hold. Panasonic quality as you;d expect

Ordered been waiting for these to come down in price, cheers op heat and rep added!
#22
Heat added, great deal, ordered.

Ordered these from them at £52 last month. Was in all day for several days when Home delivery network were supposed to deliver them, then found that they had returned them to Amazon as "no-one home." No cards through door and they are supposed to try 3 times.

Actually they've only gone up to £51.20, the price now listed on the product's homepage is for a reseller, not Amazon's own price, which is the aforementioned. However, they are now listed as "Usually dispatched within 1 to 2 months" by Amazon.

Just thought that was worth mentioning.

Hot find - I need to decide whether to go for this or the colour screen version fro around £20 more. Cheers! Aagh - what he said above - you're kidding me - damn you Amazon!

Does anyone know what frequency these operate on?

My current iDECT cordless phones are causing interfearing with my wireless internet router. I'm told most cordless phones operate on the same frequency as wireless routers (2.4Ghz) causing dropped connections etc?
#34
Note:

Price is currently showing as £58.50
#35
mine came today, 2 sets, not bad for free delivery, well done amazon.

They not for me, for my sis and auntie, we already had a set when they were £36.99

DECT phones using a different frequency are available in the US, but the ones here are all same frequency range, they perform VERY differently though... only Panasonics have been successful for me.

Don't get interference either way round with my wi fi though, (base station is about 1.5m away from the router) or with my 2.4Ghz Video sender, although that gets a little (visible) interference FROM the wifi. (have had SEVERAL models of DECT until I got Panasonic, and have used them all with about 3 different wireless routers without problem.)
Biggest interference I experience is Bluetooth with my Video sender, so I only turn it on when I need it.

I use Powerline Ethernet adapters out of preference though, as wifi is a pain, and slow with it, so now it is usually only turned on if I want to use the laptop in the garden!

Thanks for the reply. I seem to get a lot of interfearance from my cordless Binatone iDect X3i phones.. they're pretty poor anyway so am looking to replace them. Just worried that if I get a new cordless phone set, I'd still get interfearance. I'll give the Panny's a shot
