my local "big" Tesco also has the single (£19.99) and triple (£39.99) versions too.

I thought it was a good deal, but already have a digi phone.

Have a little heat.

I have these, they're generally pretty good - the downside of them, though, is that each handset has its own phonebook - so you need to enter every number a number of times (which is a hassle if you have 3/4 of the things).

Are you sure you can not send the contacts to another phone? You can with our Panasonics which are quite basic .

Does anyone know if these handsets will work with the orange livebox? thanks.

What sort of rechargeable batteries does this use? AAA or lithium?

just a quick question - does anybody know if this phone has pin lock system in it?

I.e. you need to enter a 4 digit code before you can use the numpad.

Thanks

It's a shame it doesn't have answerphone, need that to just filter all the coldcallers (yes, we're a private number and on the screening service but still get about 4 calls a day).

They're AAA. Bought these a week or so ago hoping that they'll be a lot more energy efficient than my old phones. The plug at least remains cool.

Of the ringtone options I only found one really bearable, and that's the basic one which is still a bit funny. Just so you're aware.

Does anyone know if these phones have a 2.5mm jack socket so I can plug in my headset?

no jack plug at all on the handset, these use aaa batteries, 500mah supplied with handsets,
they have a keylock system like nokia's do but they do not have a enter pin system on the handset

Have this set already, pretty good call quality etc - only downside is as someone else mentioned about having to enter all the numbers manually into each phonebook.

Bought the quad pack from tesco couple days ago for £49.99

Top quality phones, they feel abit basic but the quality of the sound is second to none and that's whats important. Most clear sound I've ever heard from a phone.

No fancy features whatsoever but I think that's a good thing personally. I'm all for fancy bits and bobs but a landline phone doesn't need that sort of rubbish.

Better and newer Panasonic phones available cheaper on a regular basis on Amazon or in Sainsburys.

nice phones bought them today

Panasonic KX-TG7304EB Quad, £49.99 in tesco, £64.99 on amazon:?

Looks like I am off to tesco, unless there is a better quad set for a similar price.

Heat to OP
