Fantastic. My mother wanted her first digital camera for her birthday and this will do the job nicely.
Thanks op

tempted.....guess i will need a memory card - where's best to buy these from?(dealt with photoglossy in the past but is there cheaper??)

http://www.imaging-resource.com/PRODS/F3/F3A.HTM

Unfortunately, the F3 departs from Panasonic's normal practice of including true optical image stabilization, instead relying on software to control blur caused by camera shake.

Get a message that the Listing has changed though - I cant see what has changed?

Nice one, perfect timing for my lads birthday. Was trying to find a cheapish, fairly rugged mobile with a decent camera and found if they have a decent camera the rest is rubbish and vice versa. At this price he can have both.
#25
You won't go wrong with a Panny Lumix! Brilliant price.

anyone have this camera and care to comment?

a few question like whats the shutter speed in taking pictures from one picture to another ?
hows the battery life?
How quick does it start?
does it charge via a cable or does it have a separate charger?
couldn't find a review that mentioned it

thanks
#30
After watching a few youtube vids, I think it has a seperate charger where you have to take the battery out of the camera and clip it into a little charging dock which then plugs into the wall.

The quality of the videos on Youtube seem superb for the money!
#31
not a bad price, think i will get one for my dad for fathers day!
#32
Would this be a good glastonbury camera do you think? (I don't want to take my proper camera in case it/i gets wrecked)
#33
Thanks, ordered
#34
video looks good better than my z70 i think can you zoom out when videoing? did you see any video of it

No dont think you can use the zoom when filming. Think it has a 4x zoom for picture taking though.

I have been waiting to get a decent digital camera as my old Samsung one has packed in. In the daytime I always use my Kodak Playsport even though it only has a 5 mega pixel lens, the PQ is very good and the video are brilliant ( its also waterproof ), however the Kodak is awful in low light and night time as it has no flash, so this Panasonic will fulfil my requirements I hope!!!
#36
Looks like a decent enough no fuss camera. A truly bargain price - well found.
Heat!
#37
"Like the old one you cannot zoom when using video mode." very sad .. ;/
#38
There seems to be a total of 330 available
#39
Really would like one as I'm going on holiday next weekend and have no camera!
#40
Thanks! Ordered one, been after a cheap camera for a while
