Most reviews are favourable. The FX series have slightly better optics but these little cameras work well and take good pictures with little effort..

The Argos outlet on eBay has this (new) for slightly less and has a selection of new (old stock) Panasonic compacts. I would advise against buying refurbished items - they are often still faulty.
Code not working any more

This is not really a review... it sounds like it is the writers first proper digital camera, I think they are doing something wrong

???? Based on what? In most cases a refurbished product from a professional organisation is as good as new.

Owner's reviews especially 1 of many is too subjective. The reviews on the web seem fine.
what's its RRP?
I found 'Fujifilm Finepix F50fd' and 'f60fd' at £105(f60) was best overall digital camera when I was researching for one a few months ago. It is very nice but SLR is so much better lens and sensor.
