Use code 10POUND to get the price to £209.99. 3% Quidco available too!

I was kicking myself for missing this price at Dixons the other week, but at least I have it now!

One of the best bridge cameras with an excellent lens and picture quality.

HOT! £209 for such a capable compact camera is great value. If you don't really need the zoom range then the Panasonic TZs at similar price would perhaps be a better buy.

Yeah, I was torn between this and the TZ10 which has plummeted in price too. Some of the fantastic pictures on Flickr taken by FZ38 users swung it for me.

You could pick a TZ10 up for £210 in the high street when it first came out. They have gone up in price. :)

It will take some pretty good pictures; I found it a real pain to get used too - just so many options and it took thousands of photos to learn most of it's little quirks and foibles and get reasonable results reliably; but it's worth the effort. My problem now (and nothing at a similar price is any better) is that the manual options are just so clunky to use that for me they're unusable - maybe a better photographer wouldn't have that problem though ;)

Wish Christmas wasn't round the corner or I'd treat myself and upgrade from my now obsolete Lumix F27. this was a brill camera certainly looks the biz as opposed to the small digi cams about.

In the last year I've owned this and the TZ7 and the TZ7 took better photos, though both were poor in low light. There's a lot more noise produced by the FZ38.
