Damn. Got the Panasonic G7 a month ago for £499-£70 cashback.

cant find the 35-100mm lens - is it worth £150 (£100 quid with the voucher) more than the camera and standard lens alone.
#4
Also where is the camera50 code from and what can it be used on/?
#5
Where does one enter this code?

You just enter it at the checkout stage - there is a box to enter a promotional voucher code

Oh yes, it's a bit hidden from a mobile.
Does anyone have a code for the body only? This doesn't work for that

If you have an Amex card with the offer, don't forget to combine it for £50 back on every £150 (you can split transactions in store if you ask) - http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/amex-jessops-spend-150-get-50-back-offer-valid-every-time-spend-until-31-12-16-2568130

Anyone confirm where the camera50 code can be used....cant find a list and doesn't seem valid on the camera without the additional lens

I've read good things about the 12-32, seems to come out on top compared with the Olympus kit lens, but Olympus's budget tele seems to be the better option in most of the reviews I've seen. Has anyone got first hand experience?

I'll have to have a look, cheers! Is it easy to sort out?

Yes. You fill out the form, they send you an email to confirm. You order online as normal then they refund the difference.

Does it have to be a bricks and mortar store or will they match reputable online sellers?

Cheers. Only for stores, I was hoping they'd match the SRS prices

They do, that's where I price matched. They have a store in Watford.

sorry I am a bit confused. jessops and currys list a cashback of 200 whereas john lewis only lists 100. is this twin kit eligible for double cashback?

If you have Amex, buy this with the 12-32 for £349 from Jessops (£299 once the amex cashback is deducted). Then buy this 45-150 with the Amex for £119

Total £ 418 for camera and 2 lenses covering 12-150 (28-300 in old money)

Has anyone seen any good deals on the Olympus 14-42 or and budget tele lenses? I'm happy to buy used if it's in good nick.

I have been contemplating sending mine back but do really like the size and feel of the camera, just a shame about the noise makes. Does anyone else who owns this camera have the same problem as below?

Not done much testing but my main problem with this camera is that the in body stabiliser rattles around a lot and the camera itself when on makes a lot of noise, like a humming and low fan noise which I find strange when you can have mobiles and tablets that run silent. In effect this sound gets picked up on the mic and in your videos, you can not bypass this an external mic as there is no mic socket.

(I bought mine from amazon, the all black model just a few weeks ago so have missed out on this double cashback promo)

The camera doesn't have a fan, and should theoretically not make continuous noise that sounds like that. Take it into a local camera store and see if they have a demo model you can compare it to.

Yeah, I will have to get myself to a camera store and try mine next to the demo models as no else ever seems to make any mention of the camera making a noise.

There's also a bonus £20 cashback from Pansonic, making it £398 in total. But having looked at the reviews, the bundled 35-100mm is a far superior lens with almost double the value, much lighter and more compact.

Today is the last day for Amex deal; I collected the twin lens GX80 yesterday. £699 list price – £50 Jessops voucher - £200 Amex cash back - £200 Panasonic double cashback - £14.50 quidco = £234.50. Not bad for GX80 + 2 lens.

Me too. Very fast.....

How are people getting on with their cashback claims? I put mine in on the 31st and still nothing (I received the automated reply saying my claim has been received), yet I read that a few people who put theirs in before me had their money within a week.

Mine took a week. Submitted 24th January, Paid, 31st January. I've not heard about the extended 2 Year Warranty yet though.

I asked to be paid by PayPal though - did you ask for a physical cheque?

Ah right, yeah, I didn't want £200 tied up in PayPal. I figured maybe 4 or 5 more days if I went for the cheque option, but it's now into the third week. I'll be checking the letterbox
#37
Has anyone that requested cashback via cheque received theirs yet? I put mine through on the 31st Jan and still haven't had anything through. I know a few people have posted getting theirs via Paypal after 7 days.
