Only with the housing which is optional extra

'Usually dispatched within 4 to 7 weeks'.

I posted a canon SX600 for £99, does anyone know whether this panasonic is better?
#7
Nb you also gets a 2 year gurantee :)

thanks for the link, but that comparison seems flawed. It doesn't compare depending on quality of pictuers, but on stats such as size and price (that website has a much higher price for the panasonic, but I think if it had the above price, the panasonic would come out on top).

Only once and even then very briefly! oO

At this price the camera is a good buy but it really isn't up to the standard of previous TZ models and certainly nowhere near the TZ60. Read reviews before buying but if it still suits you've got a bargain.
#14
Seems to be not much better than the TZ40, after reading that in depth review on Amazon. Great price but I wall hang about for the TZ60 after christmas.
#15
That's a lot of camera for a tad over £100. Thanks op, voting hot

But IS the TZ60 THAT much better than the TZ40 anyway? It gains 30x zoom but loses features like the touch sensitive LCD.

For theAmazon price this camera looks a very good deal!

Same as what i was thinking, thats not real world differences just what camera has over the other which doesnt prove much, Speed of focus, FPS speed, night photography and noise is what people should look for in a camera along with how does it feel in hand.

Any knowledgeable experts able to comment on whether this is much of an upgrade over a TZ25 which I've had for a couple of years. Previously owned a TZ7 and TZ3 before that. Probably paid around the same price that a TZ60 recently cost when a cashback promo was running that I did for my TZ3 all those years ago. You deffo get a lot more features etc for your money nowadays.

Thanks.

It's a great price, I'm just parky, ha. Why they can't just make one very good TZ rather than loads of halfarsed ones is beyond me. No doubt someone on here will enlighten me though!

I cant see why not having a touch screen is a disadvantage - mine has one and i wouldnt dare put my fingers on it - id much rather have a clean screen. A view finder would be a real bonus

Ordered for my wife to replace her venerable, but good, TZ5.

The TZ55, in the once only use when I tried it, is not a great camera in their TZ range. I found it slow and not very responsive with focussing when taking video or doing most things. The flip over LCD screen for Selfies is quite useful and the 20x zoom seemed an improvement over the 10x optical zoom for the TZ5. The image stabilisation is pretty good as well. I was amazed at how good the image stabilisation was when we were on a rocking boat with our (stolen later) TZ 30 and its 20x zoom.
It lacks some features of the TZ40 GPS etc not really needed for my wife) but the Selfie flip out screen she will use. But the biggest attraction for what is still a good camera is that killer price.

Just ordered from Tesco's for collection tomorrow for the same price of £109.

Thanks OP and heat added.

No see other options still as advertised in post.

It's 4-7 week wait :( - john Lewis have in stock for £129 with 2 year gurantee as standard and no forms.

With that delay sure there will be other offers over Xmas / boxing day

If only someone had posted another shop that sold it....... :D

If you don't need a compact, I would thing the Canon, especially as it's only £120 at Argos. The Panasonic has gone up to £150 (as I write this).

Panasonic has got poor colours. I have a Panasonic Camcorder and a TV and I won't buy any of them again, except breadmaker which I am still very pleased with, churning a loaf of bread nearly every day.
