This is the cheapest definitely. Been thinking about getting it from amazon for £179.99 but I'm just getting it from Jessop now.
#4
Superb camera, paid under £200 for mine including a spare battery a year ago but sadly I don't have access to the Panasonic staff shop any more.

I got one of these from Amazon for £181 a short while ago - at this price - sure there is no better camera. I'm very pleased with mine, although low light performance is hmmm.

I was in Tokyo earlier this year and the cameras were a lot more expensive than they are here even for home brands such as Sony, which part of Japan did you got to?

Is it possible to use the £10 and 5% codes at the same time? I only seem to be able to use one at a time

Edited By: ARKJ on Sep 10, 2010 17:28: £10 not 10%!

'Available for £118.99

https://kvcameras.com/panasonic-lumix-dmc-tz7-black'

This price is without VAT.

£139.81 total with VAT and free shipping.

From there website - 'Our prices are around 30% less than original shop prices because we are registered in Off Shore zone so we don’t need to pay taxes and VAT for government.'

Still unsure about ordering from this site.

Great camera, great price - I love the quality I get out of mine, just stick an 8GB card in it and snap away!

Maybe I'm overlooking it but I can't find this camera on the Jessops website.
#27
Hmm. Jessops have REALLY got their act together.
I'd have got this if I hadn't already bought a Sony W290 for £95 at Jessops a fortnight ago.
Heat added. Id give rep if I knew how
#28
Not sure if this is a stupid question or not but can this camera also be used as a webcam and if so what would the highest resolution be?

Good price for an OK camera. I've got one, and am yet to be impressed with it. It's does an adequate job, but nothing stunning. As someone said above, pretty poor in low light!! Great for when I don't want to take my dSLR out though.

Well why not do a bit of research? Maybe check the domain registration - when was it registered? Check their address on Google Streetview - is it a retail or warehouse location? have a think about if it looks exactly like all the other pop-up scam websites selling electronic gear at "unbelievable" prices that get posted on forums every now and then? Are there any customer reviews on the web about this "family run company with 30 years experience"?

Personally I would only give my credit card details to a real retailer.

.. you gotta laugh at the "we dont have to pay taxes and VAT for the government" ;-) ... at best youre gonna get a grey market and a bigimport duty/VAt bill from the taxman before you can get it .. at worse its a scam

Pity this has sold out to order online - I would have loved to get it at this price
#37
nothing left for home delivery. difficult finding any stock for stock pick up either
#38
Is it just me, but when I click on the camera after finding it in the search options it just returns me to the homepage? Can't look at the details or check store availability.

It's not you, I had the same trouble. See it's been expired now. Looks like you have to be very lucky to get one locally in store.

Oh well it was a blazing deal, not surprised it's disappeared so quickly. Well done to the people who grabbed them, it's probably the best happy snapper around (I already own one, was considering another as a present).
