That was just a 24 hour deal.Do not be fooled by the price ,this cam is as good and in allot of cases better than £160 price range cameras

Panny has made a name for themselves. Unfortunately their cameras aren't the best performers, IMO. I'm with Fuji any time (cheaper batteries too). Look at the F200EXR or F72/70EXR for little more but much better dynamic range, manual focus, manual exposure.
#6
Have to say, this camera is superb - got one last year when the price was nearly double, and I would buy it again
#7
still a cracking deal @ £89.99, hard to beat at this price, heat added - Thanks madmarman.....

It's got to be Canon everytime for me.

Really hot deal though

I rang today as i ordered at yesterdays price but was delayed due to an error on my credit card :?

Anyway the guy said they're defo coming back into stock in next 3-4 working days even though system says 28 days :x
#14
Not sure if it works but you guys could try the £5 off a £50 spend voucher on the boards [in original post too]....
#15
I have the wide angle lense version of this camera (F15) and the flash is very weak for indoor shots.
#16
I ordered one of these at the lower price a couple of days ago. I had been looking for a camera for my wife and after researching cameras and gradually increasing the amount I was thinking of spending I had pretty much settled on a fuji F70 or F200. Whilst these might be better, for a non-refurb model the best price I could find was about £155 so not far off double the £79.99 I paid. For once in my life I thought this will do and at this price you can't go wrong. The reviews are great and it's unfair to compare it to the Fuji costing almost double.

Hi i have just recieved my FX7 from play.com. After spending some time using it today i can say this seems a really good buy, so easy to use, the build quality is fab and the pictures to date have all been top notch, i have tried all sorts of pics and not one poor shot. The AI feature where the camera chooses to use say Macro or Scene by itsself will be great for all us point and shoot photographers. We have always had canon ixus to date, great little cameras early days i know but i love this especially at these prices.
ps the box was ok thanks!
#20
This is a mega cam for the price.
I have had my one for 2 days and can I just say it is amazing for the price.Still available in both colours but pink seems to be the quicker option.Hope this helps.

Yes can I say my box was in top condition but can I also say that it is amazing that that was the case .The packaging was poor at best but it did arrive in perfect condition .As far as possible damage to the cam well I believe that is almost impossible because it's packaged very well within it's own box.

I ordered mine on 09/03 when it was £79.99
Has anyone else received theirs yet who ordered on this date at this price?
#25
I also ordered on the 9th when it was at 79.99 & after seeing people ordering after me, recieveing before me (I still havent recieved mine yet) & my status online as 'order taken' I called play earlier to find out what was going on.

This is what they said -

They were out of stock on the 9th of the FS7s they were able to get & sell at 79.99

Since then they were able to get FS7s in a higher price from a different supplier which they priced at 89.99 but have now since run out.

They didnt post out an FS7 to anyone who bought at 79.99 as they didnt want to charge us more than we had already paid.......

It all sounds absolute bol£$%£s if you ask me. The guy was very apologetic and had to ask someone else there several times when I kept asking him questions but its still a p!ss poor performance from play.

They assured me that they are awaiting stock from Panasonic & that it would be with them in 4-5 days.

Ordered mine on 9 March, when the website was still saying 'usually despatched within 24 hours'. The order status has been showing as 'Packing' ever since. I rang Play this morning and the very helpful man assured me they will be getting some more of these cameras in from Panasonic by 'Friday at the latest' and that they will be getting in enough to cover all outstanding orders. I'll believe it when I see it.
#32
Nope - still waiting..........
#33
