Its amazing how quickly this has come down in price since it was launched. Along with the Canon S95 this is the best compact camera out there for picture quality.
Good deal if you really want this camera now. Looks like MSRP is $500/1.60 = £312. Adding tax (gotta love this country) comes out to around £360. This is 30 cheaper than MSRP, might be a good idea to wait if you are not in a rush.

Awesome deal nevertheless. HOT!!!

Anyone knows how does this one compare to GF1? Its 1cm thinner, but I don't see good review for picture quality.

Where are they located??? I get to see US version of website using US proxy. Camera is $519, when it's $421 on amazon. Are you sure you won't get VAT bill with it?
Lots of problems with Simply if you read in the photo forums. Hit and miss as always, some people do ok, others waiting ages for delivery, refunds etc. sooner bank my money with Amazon.

who cares?

give us UK retailer : ))
Cheers OP - Bought :)
LX5 or TZ10? ....

LX5 or TZ10? ....

Depends on your priorities. If you want lots of zoom and/or a GPS, the TZ10 is the way to go. If you want the possibility of forcing a shallow DoF, or need somewhat better low light performance, then LX5. I don't know what your goals are.
Thanks xenny,

I already have a 1000D SLR which I'll use for the whole manual depth of field/lower light performance and will look at getting a TZ10 for travelling with.
